Thanks, just ordered.
-
Ditto.... order placed.... thanks.
-
Picked up one as well. Thanks for the info!
-
Count me in too! I have always wanted to try a LRF.
-
Me too.
-
Ordered one too! Been eyeballing them forever just never wanted to pay a whole lot lol. Thanks.
-
LOL..... Focus Camera gotta be wondering what the h3ll just happened?
-
No doubt Bill! At that price I could see a whole bunch of airgunners ordering one.
-
Yeah, just wait til the golfers find out that those dam airgunners bought all the range finders.
-
Not our fault that we're so quick with the buy now button! Plus with a deal like this there is more money for pellets and such!
-
You guys cost me so much! :)
-

.... and practice golf balls to shoot at.... lol
"Look Arnold, they're buying up all the range finders and shooting our practice balls. They must be stopped" !!
-
I do not feel guilty , my SCUBA tank is already strapped to a golf bag dolly. 8)
-
Thanks, I snagged one too, a rangefinder has been on my wish list. I'll probably use it more for disc golf, I'm not sure if the golfers would like that more or less.
-

LOL.... so is mine.
-
Ordered... enablers ;-P
(really... Thanks for posting!)
-
Ordered one too. Thanks for enabling ;D ;D
-
The dumb thing is I already have one but figured now I don't have to worry about leaving it in the golf bag. At this price no brainier Thanks for the lead.
-
I'm not a golfer. Never even held a golf club.
So, I have a question.... You have a range finder, you check the range to the flag in the hole... I assume. Then what do you do with that information? Is there a power adjuster or mil dots on the club? :o
Sorry guys.... I just don't get the game.... I'm going to hit this little ball as far as I can. Then I'm going to go find it... and hit it again.
Wouldn't it be better to have some little guy out there with a little red helmet on. He can throw the ball back and if I hit him... I WIN !!!
-
I'm going to have to pass myself, I'll settle for where my focus on the scope reads for now, it's actually close enough for hunting, I can always compare it with pacing out a shot. It's sure one heck of a deal though !!!

I've never hit a golf ball in my life except when I was a kid playing mini golf Putt Putt golf or whatever it is.
-
I'm setting up that one acre shooting range... I plan to use it when setting out targets. I can range back to the shooting bench instead of trying to measure with a tape.
-
One acre shooting range! Your so darned lucky Bill. That range finder should work out great.
-
Thank you. Just ordered one.
-
Alas, code is dead.
Happy to see that many here got in on the deal.
FWIW, I just got a "shipped" notice from Focus, with a live USPS track# (Label created).

-
Be interesting to know how many they sold.
-
Glad I didn’t procrastinate on buying this. It seems when a great deal comes around they go quick.
-
Clem, the damage was more than the $35 for the rangefinder. I was poking around on Focus website and saw some nice 8x42 binos. It then got me Googling around and reading up on them. I was narrowed down to Vortex Diamondbacks or Nikon Monarch 5. I liked that the Vortex ($220) had a wider field of view at 1000 and that they were like $80 cheaper than Nikons. One thing led to another and I stumbled upon Monarch 5 for $182 shipped. BAM! So it was like a $210 insomnia night! But two amazing deals that I couldn't turn down.
-
Bummer I missed out, I have been wanting one for Bow hunting.
Jim - jhm757
-
I also got tracking. Label created in NJ.
-
Tracking information. USPS shipping from NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ
-
Be interesting to know how many they sold.
well, i bought 3 for my grandkids for CHRISTMAS presents..... 8)
and received a track # today as well.
-
Got a tracking # & a new toy on the way. Thanks for the heads-up on the deal. ;D
-
Yup I have tracking info from NJ as well.
-
I bet that USPS guy was like.... What the H$(( ?
-
Thanks, UhClem.
I ordered this afternoon and received tracking info a few hours later.
I wonder how many were sold as a result of this thread?
If you're a lurker and bought one, let us know. ;)

Sold out and DEAD is DEAD

Thanks, UhClem.

You must have got the last or near the last. It was reported that the deal was dead at 1:08 pm. May 22.
-
I went back and checked. I ordered at 11:46 am on the 22nd. Guess my memory was off a little. Maybe they shut it down at noon?
Tracking has changed to "Accepted" so apparently it's on the way. :D
-
Same here.
-
Tracking says mine should be here Tuesday. I'm in Washington State.
-
I'm in Mississippi, tracking shows mine will be here Saturday.
-
Supposed to get mine on Tuesday!
-
Mine says it should arrive by Tuesday as well. Looking forward to it.
-
Me too, been wanting one for a couple years.
-
Tuesday. Don't surprise me with Monday being a holiday.
-
I’d get mine on Saturday, if I was there to receive it. ;) So it is Tuesday for me as well.
-
tuesday here also
-
I’d get mine on Saturday, if I was there to receive it. ;) So it is Tuesday for me as well.
Be careful if you're traveling.... I ain't going nowhere near a highway this weekend. We get the Florida traffic through our little town here... that's bad enough.

Thx. Not going too far. It is the weekend we open the camp in the Adks, every year. PCP's packed and ready to go for those pesky red tree rats. :)
-
Temps hovering near the 100's this weekend. My first project for the weekend is putting the A/C in the shop. I probably won't venture too far from there afterwards. Fridge is stocked, security cams are on and AG projects are piled up... no reason to go nowhere. ;)
Edit: Ryan Stennit (local forecaster) says we'll be matching or breaking temp records set as far back as 1916 this weekend. Combine that with the humidity this area is known for and it is down right miserable.
-
I not going to complain about high 60's, low 70's. :) But it is black fly season. ;)
-
They just relocated 700 head of cattle from 2 fields over from our house. Now those flies are in search of new feeding grounds. They follow my black Nitro down the dirt road like it's a big old cow. Betty Lou got bit on the arm yesterday.
-
Shipping confirmed, Tuesday delivery expected.
Been shipping to work address lately since I also seem to be working long days. Shouldn't complain since that allows me to afford the occasional new toy ;)
-
Mine should be here Saturday, NW Illinois.
Thanks for the heads up
-
Hmm, I ordered mine 1:03AM on 5/22. I got a Paypal confirmation but have yet to receive a confirmation from Focus. I'm fearing a mess up and then Focus is going to tell me they don't have any and cancel my order. Dang, should have paid via credit card and not Paypal. Argh.
-
The tracking is showing mine at my local PO and should be out for delivery today. Not sure if I can test it out soon or not with the planned weekend.
-

Paypal will make it right.... that's why I use them.
-
I used PP too. I'm sure it will come through. Yeah Bill I like to stay close to home during the holidays if I can as well. Tasha and I don't have much family so theres no visiting really. I wonder like you how many AG'ers got this range finder!
-

Chris (and Bill),
How long did it take after your PP transaction to get a Focus confirmation? It seems two days to process is a long time?
-
On 5/21 @ 7:08 pm I ordered and got instant confirmation from Focus.
At 7:09 pm I got notice from Paypal that payment was made.
On 5/22 @ 12:07 I got tracking info from Focus. I lit up my USPS tracking and requested updates. I have received 4 or 5 from them since... the latest being 9:43 this morning.
-
Bill,
I emailed them and got a response. They sent a USPS tracking number. Delivery is scheduled from 8PM Tuesday shipped from Teterboro! Yeah I know its like being an impatient kid. I feel like a Millennial lol.
Bummer its not coming for the weekend so I can play with it. On the bright side the binos I bought are coming Saturday!.
-
Jeez Bill you keep a log book on this stuff lol! I ordered it in the middle of the night (thanks sleep disorder) and I think it was instantaneous as well. Then a day later got an email saying it shipped. Not very long. Maybe email them and ask.
-
That's great Andrew. Yeah I'm very impatient when it comes to my AG's as well. I had quite the wait my last barrel I got from Jim. I must have checked my email like ten thousand times before I got it! It's a sickness. And I'm in waaaaay over my head!
-
LOL.... no log book, just e-mail history. I get notifications on the smart phone for everything. If I use my card to buy gas and a cup of coffee my phone tells me I did, basically.
-
Gotcha, yeah I'm still in the 90's rockin the flip phone. My wife has all those notifications on her phone. Nice thing about that flip phone though is if it falls out of my pocket at work and I run it over it only costs me 20 bucks to replace it!
-
Lol..... come to think of it.... I probably could have found a range finder app and saved the 35 bucks.
-
What fun would that be though? Probably a lot cheaper to replace a 35 dollar range finder than a cell phone.
-
Yeah but, you can't order a pizza on a range finder. Maybe you could tell how far away the delivery guy is... that's about it.
-
Right on! I have an elaborate smoke signal program set up with my local pizza hut!
-
Mine arrived! Shipped in a box 6x8x4.5, so it did fit in the mailbox; else I'd have to drive into town/PO tomorrow. [USPS won't deliver down our road; thankfully all others do.]
But, it's not the LRF600 ... (not to worry...) it's the GOLF600. ;) The manual is worded the same as the Tasco LRF600's, except that each mention of "deer" is replaced by "flag". :D :D . And, the Tasco LRF600 manual is same as Simmons LRF600's except all "SIMMONS" replaced by "TASCO". And ALL of them allude to Bushnell being the "man behind the curtain". Incestuous, huh?
Most important, it works!! But, for me, it works too good. Anything (!!) between you and your object, even a few wispy leaves on a twig, will result in a "short reading". Lasers don't discriminate. Still, I'm quite pleased--I'll adapt.
This time, we GOT a good deal ...
Black flies for some of you, eh? We're cursed with mosquitoes (West Nile disease) and ticks (Lyme disease).
... and sometimes we ARE the deal!

Have a great weekend!!!
-
USPS tracking still showing that I will receive mine tomorrow but I'm doubtful. That same tracking shows it in Tampa Florida today. My question is why coming from New Jersey to South Mississippi would you route through Tampa Florida?
-
I used PP too. I'm sure it will come through. Yeah Bill I like to stay close to home during the holidays if I can as well. Tasha and I don't have much family so theres no visiting really. I wonder like you how many AG'ers got this range finder!

Have a great weekend!!!
Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to getting mine Tuesday.
-
I also received a Tasco GOLF600. Very easy to use and as UhClem stated in his review it is sensitive. It's my 1st experience with this type of instrument and based on the distances that the rangefinder is calculating I am quickly learning that my past estimating of distances beyond 50yrds was a bit skewed! And I had also used PayPal pay for the purchase. Yep great deal as Amazon Prime cost is $62 shipped.
-
That's my reason.... for 5 years or so I've been posting here about my shooting adventures. To be honest, I've only actually measured with a tape on a handful of occasions. The rest of the time I base my reports by comparison to those few times. This tool will stop the 'cheating'.
-
I bought mine for the same reason and to check some distances in my yard as well. Plus I want to do some longer range shooting this summer and this be a very useful tool.
-
Right on! I have an elaborate smoke signal program set up with my local pizza hut!
So like when you burn dinner, they see the smoke and send PIZZA ! 8)
-
You got me figured out James!
-
I had not checked my tracking, but was just pleasantly surprised to get mine in the mail today, IMO works just as good if not better than my $150 dollar range finder. 8)
-
Nice to hear James. I'm glad I got in on the savings too.
-
Mine was scheduled for delivery Tuesday, but arrived today. Nice surprise.
It works great! ;D ;D ;D
-

SAME HERE!
Except I'm at work until 11pm so I won't get to check it out until late tonight or tomorrow
-
Mine was scheduled for today although it was not delivered so I guess Tuesday or Wednesday.
-
Mine arrived today. Installed a 9v battery and up in action. I am going to have to re-measure my 50yd range as it is reporting 52yds. ;) My 100yd says 99yd. I have marked things out to just over 300 yds. Says it can do to 400yds.
-
Mine came today. Added battery and it works great. Very simple to use. Great deal for $35.
-
Mine arrived today also. I installed a 9v battery and went on the patio. I am going to have to re-measure my 60yd range as it is reporting 61yds and my 10yd says 9yd. It must not round up. At 10 yds it read 9 yds, I stepped back only about a foot and it then registers 10 yards. I'm happy.
-
Mine did the same thing a couple times when I was checking it out. I would measure and get 18 yards and then I would move back a couple feet and still read the same. I'm still very happy with mine too! Beats the heck out of my 100 foot tape!
-
I did re-measure my 50yd range with a tape and got 150ft and a few inches. It may be reading the tall weeds behind the range, even though I aimed at the base.
-
It says it's within +- 1 yd in accuracy. That's 6 ft. total. And probably in a perfect scenario.
-
Maybe that's why they were discounted so heavily, they weren't up to snuff for the precision required for playing golf! LOL!
-
It is good enough to measure all the key distances from the "sniper's nest" to trees and hedgerows, etc. :)
-
That's what I'm thinking John.... and saves me a lot of steps and time.
-
Exact reason why I got mine too guys. I really like it.
-
I put mine to use on Monday, yes it is picky on what yard line you are on, but works good enough to take the guesswork out of your shots. I did have some issues getting a good reading on one starling that was in close quarters with other tree branches, but it was between 30 and 35 yards so held for the latter and delivered the goods.
-
Got mine yesterday, I didn't have a 9v battery (I mean what uses those these days?) so I had to borrow from a smoke detector. Easy to use, works well, and can be switched to meters if you'd like to measure in the same distance unit as the rest of the world. I know because I accidentally switched it and had to figure out how to switch it back. Luckily it was in the manual. Great deal, I'm super pleased.
-
Mine arrived on Tuesday and I finally got a nine volt battery installed today. It works great! Glad I got in on this deal thanks for posting it!
-
Only problem I see is that my shooting bag is filling up with cool gadgets. Might need a bigger bag... ;)
-

Keep checking the bargain gate, maybe someone will post a good deal on a bigger shooting bag :)
-
LOL.... I probably already have bags full of shooting bags around here.
-
Well delayed a couple times but mine finally came. What anticipation and it’s “ok!” We’ll for the money it’s another toy! Plus now I can keep one in my golf bag and one in the shooting bag.
Here’s my take vs my Sonocaddie which I’m sure I paid less than $50 because I’m so cheap I know I didn’t spend more!
The 4x is a bit limiting and I like the 6x on my other LRF. The image calculation is immediate on Sonnocaddie and it also does metric. Tasco took a while to give a reading. Sonnocaddie also has a rubber eyecup which helped me take the picture through my iPhone. Boy was that tough lining up!
I ran a shooting box out 30 yds as measured by tape. The Sonnocaddie consistently said 31 yds. The Tasco would toggle readings from 29 up to 32 so there’s some inconsistency there.
All in all though for $35 I’m really happy. Plus all the cool guys were doing it and I want to up my cool quotient. Thanks for the tip!
-
Mine showed up this week and it seems to work just fine especially for the price.
-
This deal is Alive again (as of now/06Jun19 1700et).
Details in first post.
[Mods: Is there a reason I (as OP) am not presented with a "Modify" or "Edit" option on that first post? (only "Quote") This worked in the past.

I'm disappointed in my TASCO LRF 600 Golf Laser Rangefinder. It is consistently inconsistent . I use a 100' tape to measure where I place my target stands. I measured 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 yards. The Tasco was off almost every time by a yard sometimes more, I know the manual says +/- a yard but the thing is that when I measure the same distance it comes up with a different measurement).
I have a Simmons that I think is the same thing in different packaging. I use my Simmons for deer hunting and it stays in my pack. We have a pipeline running across our property where we (my son and I) hunt. I have measured with a rolling wheel measuring device and verified the Simmons on multiple occasions. It is consistently consistent with the measurements it shows. When I use it to measure where I place my target stands the 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 yards that the Tasco failed at, the Simmons was dead on everytime.
Hmm?
-
Maybe it needs to be sent back. It could be defective.

You may be right. I'll email them.

Maybe these are sold at such a deep discount because they are qc rejects.

Maybe these are sold at such a deep discount because they are qc rejects.
You know that had crossed my mind. What if they fail an accuracy test and then they are sold to people who hit tiny balls into holes.
-
I think people who golf are just as intense and performance driven as any airgunner. Let us know what you find out. I would think it would have to be made known to the buyer if they were QC rejects or refurbed units other wise it would fall into false marketing.
-
I really don't think 1 yd +- is gonna affect poi in golf or air gunning.
Still seems more accurate than the old days..... paces.

Thanks for your reply/explanation(/excuse? :D).
I read the first two pages of that thread; when I finish reading it, I'll add my own comments there.
But, I do have this to say here, and now ...
The starting/initial post (of a thread) should have a different "set of rules" ... especially so in the Bargain Gate (and Classifieds).
Remember, "Gun Control is never a (good) solution."

It's a moot point in this case... I just tried it and the discount code is invalid again.

[Thanks for the update.]
Better than moot ... now the thread title is correct, and I don't have to change it (again).

LOL.... the circle of life.
-
Maybe these are sold at such a deep discount because they are qc rejects.
Bill, that is usually my thought when I see deeply discounted items or deals such as this, and it's a pretty good assumption IMO having seen/read so much stuff on here for 12 years.

I'm pretty versed in the ways of buyout/closeout/factory reject. I worked in management for Ruby Vines Railroad Salvage for several years.
-
I really don't think 1 yd +- is gonna affect poi in golf or air gunning.
Still seems more accurate than the old days..... paces.
Bill the one I am sending back rarely got it correct (correct +/- a yard), more often than not the next reading was 5 to even 10 yards off.
-
Yeah.... that sounds defective.
-
Yeah.... that sounds defective.
If it's cousin wasn't right on the money I would have just chalked it up as "ya get what ya pay for" but that golf Rangefinder was almost hilarious. Example: Read 17 yards then next reading, same position 24 yards, actual measured distance was 15 yards. I giggled then got angry when I noticed this happened almost every time.
