Hi all,
Has anyone pushed a .25 Vulcan 2 to shoot 33.95g JSB's at 930fps+, if so what reg pressure did you use and did you replace the hammer spring? Also if there is anyone with a .30 Vulcan 2 with the ability to measure the hammer spring please let me know the dimensions.
Currently I have managed 900fps with a reg adjustment. The reason I want these speeds is I will move to 34g slugs shortly and have seen good results at between 930-950fps. Shot count is not a huge issue but 20-25 shots would be nice out of a 250bar fill.
Any advice on hammer spring size, valve spring size and porting adjustment would be great. I also have a Huma reg on order factory set to 155bar but can adjust on arrival.
Cheers
Geoff

if you have managed 900fps with reg adjustment alone. you can certainly push the 34 grains towards 930fps. i dont have that particular gun but the tuning is similar across airguns. ya need to try upping the spring tension or weight. next step is to bore the transfer ports to 80% of the caliber. that should be enough to get it up there.
