This may ruffle a few feathers, but at this point in time, I can think of only 3 airgun related companies that started small, and after they got big in the airgun business, the MAIN person still answers the phone.

Tim at Mac1 Airguns.
Mike Melick at Flying Dragon.
Joe Brancato at Air tanks for sale. (to be fair to Joe, the American Airgunner shooting schedules cut into his time, but they produce content that we all enjoy.)

If I visit your website,  I want to find a phone number, either displayed prominently on the page, or under the contact us tab, not just an email address.

I know taking time to talk to the tens of thousands of your customers who help get you where you are today takes up your valuable time.

I have no problem talking to a any employee when I have a question about where my shipment is, or ordering a part that I know is what I need.

But if I have a question about parts compatibility, or the safety of a particular product you make or sell, I want to talk to the guy who DESIGNED OR BUILT IT.

Just my personal opinion..

Thanks Ian. I've emailed Donny and he's been quick and very informative. I had placed an order and wanted to make a change if it hadn't gone out yet even though I had received an in the mail notification. So in order to catch it while it was possibly still there I thought I'd ask here for a number to get in touch so I might get him right away. But he actually emailed me back and was able to answer without me having to call. I agree many people don't list a phone number at all and even then they don't answer email either when it's their only way of contact.. But I can say in this case I was in touch with him several times this week by email and he got back to me each time and I'd say considerably faster than the average person, and I know he's busy. It's been a pleasure so far doing business with him.

I have no issues with him either, I have owned 2 of his designs.

But like I said, I personally, would like to talk to a live body when I am discussing a issue that is out of the norm.

You can convey more in a 3 minute conversation than 10 texts or emails.

Especially if the person on the other end has an email from you with a few photos, so you can both be on the same page so to speak.

absolutely. always nice to know you can get someone. I will say when I won't do business with someone at all. If an email only is listed and I email inquiring about a product as in I'm interested in buying but have a few questions. If I get an answer, even if it takes a day or two, depending on the product, that's ok. If I email and no answer for 4-5 days forget it because I can't feel I will get in touch if an issue arises. I'll give an example. I thought about a breech for the maxi. Contacted through email and never got an answer back. not a delay, but never answered me. That is someone far too busy to take my money . So I won't bother him with that problem again , lol. If your not interested in the sale neither am I , right? I do the same with any contractor. if I call and you call 3-4 days later I won't be using you. It may be you can't do the job now, but you could surely answer a person and say sorry too busy unless you can wait.I think I'm not alone in thinking this way. Some people think they do you a favor taking your money. But anyway off base here. I've been lucky in this hobby so far to have all positive experiences and I'm glad.

Donny is top notch and honestly most of the vendors I deal with are too. I'm like you , if you cant get back to me I don't need to buy your products. Bottom line.
