Title: I've never experienced such a dramatic difference before.

So I sighted my gun in yesterday with CPHP's at 10 yds on 3 pumps and got this

Today I extended the distance out 10 more feet
And got this s top group

So I bumped it up to 4 pumps and got the bottom group.

I'm kind of thinking 3 pumps simply wasn't enough to keep the pellet stable at this distance considerering that all it took was one extra pump to get a tight 12:00 group.
I've never experienced this before and thought it was interesting.

Not sure if it's a common occurrence, but it definitely opened my eyes to a potential issue that apparently exists.

I've been pretty pleased with the accuracy I've been getting.
It's funny to think of seeing much better groups with peeps than I was with a scope, but I'm just a backyard plinker who can't really take advantage of a scope and the parallax was killing me I guess.
