The air reservoir is leaking at the fill valve. I put it back in the rifle and air is hissing from the barrel muzzle now.Anyone familiar with this issue? It's brand new, so I'm about to test TGAG's customer service. Or should I contact CZ_USA directly. I know. Read the warranty. :(
Meanwhile, see my new avatar/picture? That was taken after the leak was discovered. Figured I'd shot some of that air I just put in it. Two complete fills and three top-offs, and i get a leak. Say Levee (c'est la vive).

Send it back.
If it were just the air tank fill valve, then it wouldn't leak down the barrel..the valve seal is leasking, and that would be best serviced from Boris.
-
Call Boris he will help you troubleshoot and tell you next step......My AA branded S200B from him had a bad air tube that leaked out after the first week all of a sudden....Boris help me spot where the leak was and had me send him the tube and he sent a replacement one......It has been good since 2007

muzzle. Have you cocked the hammer and refilled from a tank? It says the estimated pressure it will vent out muzzle in the PDF manual
QUOTE
"Note: Filling to a higher pressure will not increase power and may actually trouble operation, filling to lower pressures will not reduce power, only the number of shots. If the rifle is continually fired when the pressure in the compressed-air reservoir is below refill pressure(less than 60 bar), the remaining air will eventually escape through the barrel spontaneously. This is not harmful to the rifle but can cause
surprise to yourself or bystanders."
It will not seal if you do not cock the hammer and try to refill after this happens
-
try refill from your tank not a handpump.....remember the firing valve is in the air tube not the breech so if its bad Boris will need to swap it out
-
You need to cock the hammer then refill it from the tank . Tom above is on the money. Thanks David

I should have been more clear. When I saw that the reservoir had leaked down to zero, I refilled it (but have never overfilled it). Once it was refilled, and still out of the rifle, it leaked air from the valve. I contacted Bori. He want's me to send the air reservoir back to exchange it for a new one.
This is the most accurate rifle I've ever owned. Sorry to be without it's service/

My tube has been good since 2007 after an initial problem and swap out from Boris. I am abit leary of the breech end filling....I worry about abit of dirt etc getting directly into firing valve since its in the tube. I would be willing to give up the gauge for a front fill style like my Air Arms...in the long run the rifle is going to be a shooter
-
Hi Tom and David,
I can't swing the front-fill reservoir at this time. I can do so down the road, maybe. My Guppy allows me to see the fill pressure, and the remaining tank pressure. I guess I'd have to shoot until the POI changes. Is that correct?

What I do on my 22 cal with front fill is I ran a chrony string and determined where the spread was acceptable to me I then just fill the rifle and count out that many pellets into a container and shoot till they are gone
-
You man now I have to buy a .22? ;D excellent results, Tom.
-
There is no problem filling an air tank from the side that screws into the receiver.
The FWB and Anschutz match rifles (and likely Styer, Wather and Hammerli also) work like that.
Unscrew the tank from the rifle, screw it into the source of compressed air and fill it.
Just have to keep it clean.
My CO2 match AP is filled the same way.

You man now I have to buy a .22? ;D excellent results, Tom.
No adjustments have ever been touched that is how the rifle shot out of the box since the initial problem with the tube leakdown
It just shoots too well to change anything *_*

Did I mention the CZ recall!
-
Did I mention the CZ recall!
What CZ recall??? I don't see it on CZ-USA
-
Did I mention the CZ recall! Yeah right Tom he wants the recall to his house lol!!! Thanks David
-
We know Blu. ;D
Bori is sending me a replacement unit, and I'll return the failed one once that arrives. Only thing is he's sending it USPS. That means I should get it my June! :o
-
I gota pick on Bluzs about the recall to his house. He has had a Dragon Slayer for months and hasn't fired it yet. Now if the recall were to be delivered to my house I would have to say the heck with the honey do list and shoot it a few times anyway. Sorry Bluzs, the devil made me do it.

Good news, guys. My replacement reservoir will be here Friday! :)
-
new tube should be there and the CZ200S should be humming along..... ;D
-
Hi Tom,
My bad. I thought I updated this post. CRS, for sure. Yep the new tube arrived on Friday as Bori said it would. Stupid mail service almost left it on the truck, but the guy made another stop to deliver it (after I had received my other mail, and thought the tube wasn't going to show). Bori has some air in it, and I topped it off, put it in the rifle, and viola! No hissing air from the muzzle. Not a leak before I put it in either. So it's rootin-tootin-shootin time again! ;D
Now to try some Benjamin 10.5 HPs. I'll sight it to 30 yards and see what happens. I'm just glad to have it back up and keeping my P-rod company.
-
Boris keeps his word again ;D
Now be careful about getting dirt in when filling from the backend thats the one thing I do not like about the back fill tube. The tube should have a year/month marking on it for when it was made....Theses tubes are wierd seems it can take up to ten days or so before they will leak once they are in use and under full pressure. My tube that failed did it after almost two weeks....BUT the replacement has been good since 2007 ;D.......
-
will do, on the dirt thing. I'll check the date as well. Weird tubes, eh? Uh-OH! I was born under a ladder, and my first steps were crossed by a black cat. The I stepped on a crack, and broke...well you get the picture. ;D Thanks for the tip, Tom. ;)
-
I know the feeling too well look at this...and that was after it was FIXED LOL
-
Now I have seen the horror of the Shade! :o :o Tell me, Oh Spirit of Airgun Grief, does this fate await me too? Well actually I too have seen it in a rifle I had repaired. The repair failed miserably. Cheap internals. Not inexpensive. Just cheap.

naw I think you will be good to go on the AA S200 now mine has not missed a beat since 2007
