After thousands of shots, I pull the bolt back and it won’t cock. If I put the safety on and off, it will generally solve the issue for one or two cycles. At first, it only happened occasionally and I could live with it. Recently however, it happens 6 or 7 times out of 10. Is there a simple fix? Thanks.

Trigger may be set to lite. May be time to clean and lubricate. It is important to cycle the bolt fully to reset. Good luck. Dave

When I first got a Gauntlet it could not be cocked while the safety was on. I returned it the second one worked fine.
But yea the trigger might be a little too light or the sorta kinda first stage too long.
It is also possible that the sear face has rounded off.
Hopefully it is the former.
Here is a video on how to adjust the trigger.

Thanks for the video. I wonder which adjustment screw is the likely culprit?

open the trigger cover, adjust the three screws that you can visually see. the middle screw is the trigger stop. the top is trigger travel. the bottom with the spring is weight of pull. its likely the top screw

Thank you. I’ll try it later today.

I got it fixed! It was the top screw and it was in too far. I had tried to make the trigger break too soon and my Gauntlet didn’t like it. The video was a great help. Thanks all for your input.

Glad you got it working, and thanks for letting us know :)
