Title: Target Tune India Kit
Post by: LAalex on July 22, 2011, 12:37:02 PM
I'm thinking about the "Gamo-Crosman Kit Full" for my phantom.  Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks,
Scotty

Are these from India?  Does JM have anything equivalent?  You get what you pay for.

My thoughts are that you will be making a big mistake.. :'( :'(  Just my opinion but in my past experience with airgun parts that were manufactured in India were a complete disaster   >:( >:(  and inferior to American made and even Chinese made parts.  :o :o Most of their parts are cheap imitations or clones of parts using inferior quality materials that are passed off as being superior but are far from it. I am speaking from personal experience. Never ever again. You get no deal... and you get what you pay for. If you don't pay much... don't expect much and don't cry to others about it. >:( >:(

Your best bet is to buy American made time proven and airgun enthusiast's and an airgun tuners recommended parts.  ;D ;D

These guys are the only people that have a spring upgrade for the IZH53M pistol....

Says they ship the spring for 3 dollars.  How can that be?

I havnt heard any positive reviews about target tune india. Most order pay and then email them and never get replies. Id be willing to bet some one states side can make you a spring if you cant find one.

Had ordered two springs to try that ARH don't carry.  Target Tune India have my money and I have no springs.  There may be a huge problem with there postal system.

I have never had a issue with TTI...
takes about 2 weeks to get the parts
for me..But I am closer... I have only
ordered springs & seals..
Things may have changed , I have not
ordered from them for a fair while now...

Might order a couple of seals to see if they
turn up... no big $ out lay if they don't..

They may be legit.  But it seems if the product does not make it past their postal service your order is history.

Don't know about TTI directly but, India produced some knock-off Webley PB guns and air pistols years ago and they were gar-bage!

Ever seen a foundry with the metal part molds made in the dirt floor with clay and sand? Paints the picture.

As Bob noted, ya get what you pay for, why that is not more intuitive to those with these many posts from "cheap seals to springs and lubes" is beyond me. And any day now, someone will want to know (again) how to make their own 5 gallons of Pellgunoil. Pellgunoil works, just buy it, it lasts for months and months.

One of our chief complaints these past 10 years is quality or the lack of in AGs. Yet, we are still on the search for the cheap solutions. How does it go?, you can't have it both ways?

I have no experience with this company.  There is, however, a pretty large air gun community in India with their own forum.  Don't have the link off hand but you can probably search it out and ask there.  (It's in English.)  The Indians make some copies of the older Diana rifles, too, but I have yet to see one state side.

I ordered a spring for my Gamo and has held up really well. Took about 2 weeks to receive. Maybe I got lucky, but no nightmare story for me.

How did you pay them?  They say paypal is no longer an option....

if they stopped taking paypal its due to the people who ordered and paid with paypal realized if the item has not been delivered by the 45th day after the payment was made they could file dispute with paypal. paypal then freezes tti's paypal account, investigates and then decided weither to honor the dispute and refund the money to the customer or drop the dispute.. im sure paypal got more then enough disputes, complaints and reports about how tti was pretty much stealing every bodies money that they no longer let tti use paypal

These are very, very old posts. Target Tune has been out of business for a long time due to the death of the owner.
