Post by: RHINOTEX on July 22, 2011, 11:15:55 AM
Has anyone come up with a non-thumbhole stock for the NPSS REMINGTON YET?

It's been said right here on the GTA that the Summit stock will not work as the bolt pattern is wrong. I do not personally know but I have read the post as I was looking for a stock for my NPSS. I was told the only one that would fit was from the Benjamin Legacy and I know the Legacy stock does fit as I found one and  installed it on my NPSS. I am now a Dark Sider and sold all my springers & Nitro rifles, Gene ended up with the Legacy stock with a deal we worked out

Yup looks good on the Venon but it did not fit the NPSS did it Bob? It is almost impossible to find a Bejamin Legacy, I found the one I used on my NPSS on GunBroker. It was new and paid a good amount for it but I installed the plastic stock from the NPSS and sold the Legacy for 2/3's what I paid . Ended up with a nice wooden stock for about $50. Bob if I ever see a Legacy I will PM you

So is the USA made Legacy Springer worth more for its stock than as a unit?  I ask as it was an extremely disappointing rifle for me years ago.
