I ordered one of these at $75.99 and like it so much I ordered another at the sale price. Nice reticle, locking turrets, clear bright optics. Great scope for the price.
I know it is Chinese but unless it falls apart in the near future I thing this is a great deal.

I do not believe any scope to be springer rated unless it says springer rated. Even then it can be iffy.
I would not expect a Chinese scope with high end features at this price to be springer rated even if it said it was.

Ray, I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm not 100% sure it actually worked! It took $9.00 off in my cart and the transaction went through, but when I went into my orders, it's showing the amount as $69.99! I'll have to wait and see what shows on my CC to see if it actually worked or not. So, I may have jumped the gun and misspoke about the coupon savings!

If it just had a regular mildot reticle I would jump all over it but I don't think that any of those markings would be useful to me personally.

LOL! I didn't see the $2 code! Nice job! Looks to be a decent scope for $60, looking forward to receiving it and trying it out. I did go through Giving Assistant, which says 7% cash back. If that works, it may end up being $56.72! Love saving money, no matter how much I have to spend to do it! :o

Yeah, decent scope for $60, unless it falls apart or does not hold zero its still a decent scope for $120 in my opinion.

I got one similar features bit different reticle, and about $100 more, Hiram brand, could be the same scope, I have it on my Recluse now and so far I like.

I ordered one back in Feb when james828 posted about it...my impressions were:
Just received the scope. First impressions are good. The sight picture is clear all the way to the edges and it's quite bright at full magnification. The reticle is suitably fine at full magnification...should be just fine for precision shooting. Some FFPs get too thick at high magnification. That means it gets really small at low magnification but that won't bother me.
The illumination is just the dot in the middle. I thought that was weird at first but I think I'm going to like it. Many scopes are so bright at night, even on their lowest setting, that they wash out visibility of the target. This one won't do that.
If focuses clearly at full magnification at 12 yards. A bit blurry at 10 yards.
Well I was wrong about the illuminated reticle.
In proper darkness I realized that it's not just the center dot that's illuminated. The rest of it has a very subtle backlit halo. Very nice...this is perfect for night time pesting.

It does have a rather "funky" reticle.

I bought one on MW closeout about a year ago, and recently, a used one. It has the mil-dash which may be close enough to mil-dot, for you.
Ordered one, funky reticle and all, to try on my ATI parts gun. :)

Now, I received notification two days ago that it shipped, and status on AliExpress says it shipped. The purchased scope still shows in stock, but the BSA does not show under "Hunters" listings. I sent a msg to the seller to explain what was going on.
Did anyone else get this? This is only my second purchase through AliExpress, but the 1st went without any issues.

Yep, I got the same e-mail. He attached a picture of the BSA Scope and it looked to be the same to me. I told him to go ahead and ship it. He claims it's the same scope, just a different brand name. When it arrives, if it's not the same specs as the one I ordered, I'll file a dispute, worst case I may get a discount!

The reply I got was the same as the one with the picture! ::) Not allot of help.
I replied to that one, if everything else is the same outside of the name on the scope and the box, to go ahead and send it.

I received one from him two weeks ago. It was 100% as advertised. I was so happy with it I ordered two more at the sale price. Brand names mean almost nothing with Chinese products as they specialize in knockoffs, and copyright laws... well who knows.

I got my shipping notice yesterday and didn’t get anything saying it was out of stock or would be a different “brand” Hopefully it comes as advertised. If not I’ll file a dispute with ALIEXPRESS and if that doesn’t work I’ll file a dispute with my cc company.

I would agree. You buy something from Ali-Express, good luck trying to return it. We will see if I get a response from old "Hunter Wang" regarding this scope. I asked him if he had actually shipped it yet since I was notified that he had and have a tracking number.

I received notice mine had shipped 2 days ago, but when I check the shipping it says no info available, so I doubt anything actually left their facility. They probably printed the shipping labels and then discovered they didn't have anymore, so they had to run down the street and grab a bunch of the BSA scopes from Chang! ;D

In my experience when tracking an order from China not a lot of useful info if any shows up for a week or so. I would not assume anything from tracking this early in the process.

Same here, a couple gauges and a couple targets osrdered after the scope are showing signs of movement. The scope just has a tracking number assigned, the same number that was assigned prior to the order being changed to the BSA Scope. No communication since he asked if he could substitute the BSA for the Bestsight either. Not looking too promising!

Not much, I ordered a couple gauges to use on the Huma QuickFill that had the defective gauge so I can use it while Huma researches and sources a better gauge. I have on in my .22 Mrod and it works great, but apparently they got a bad batch of gauges and when I ordered one for my .25 Mrod, I got one of the bad ones. Both are regulated, so it’s nice to know what the actual fill pressure is!

Just a quick fyi on the BSA scopes. I have 2 4-14x44. One was bought from Midway when they were on sale and the other was from Aliexpress. They look very similar on the outside but the Midway one has BSA and the scope specs stamped into the bell while the knockoff is painted on. The reticles are also of different sizes and scale differently. The knockoff may not be true mil. Just a heads up.

I just got some 1" 30mpa gauges with M10 fitting on them. I suspect, the M10 is what is on the Liberty. I'll let you know if they fit, once they arrive.

Old Hunter did respond back to me yesterday telling me he had not shipped yet. He said the BSA was identical to the Bestsight and claimed he would ship immediately if the BSA scope was acceptable. If I wanted to wait for the Bestsight, it would be a week or so before he could ship. I told him to go ahead and ship the BSA branded scope. One thing that bothered me was that I could not find a 5-15x50 BSA scope available anywhere else except on Ali-Express. Nothing from a US seller which leads me to believe it can't even be a BSA copy. Looks like they are just trying to use the BSA name for its reputation/popularity. Hopefully, it doesn't fall apart once we get them. Only time will tell. At least it's not that expensive.

I'm betting they are all the same scope, just different markings. A little Goo Gone to the markings and you'd probably never be able to tell one from the other! :D

Don't worry I just received the Hawke knock off scope from Aliexpress about 10 days ago, it is good quality I put it on my Flash Pup and works fine even at highest magnification the picture is acceptable for hunting, the turrets are very sturdy and reliable when you turn, the POI will move accordingly, took me only 5 shots to zero at 20 yards.

FWIW: AliExpress still shows the scope is in China, but just got a hit from USPS, and should have it, tomorrow. It came in from the NY ISC, as it should. The gauges, however, came it via LA CA ISC, and will be here on Saturday.

Yep, mine is supposed to be delivered on Friday. Tracking shows it arrived in NY on the 8th and hasn't left yet! With the storm that's headed across the northern half of the country, I suspect a lot of stuff I have on order will be delayed due to weather...

Mine showed up today. Identical to the first one I received except for the name on it. The box says BSA but shows a very different scope, I was worried until I opened it. ;D ;D ;D

Well, mine just checked through the Metro NY Distribution Center and is on its way. I somehow doubt it will be delivered tomorrow... My FX is supposed to be delivered on Monday, with any luck, they will both arrive on the same day. I already have the tall rings, so I should be able to get it all together and sited in within a day of arrival!

Mine arrived today. It survived the voyage fine, even though the box took some abuse. I haven't mounted it to a gun yet, but optics seem good for low price point. Not sure I will get use to this reticle, especially w/FFP on low power. We'll see.

Well, my scope never left China and never showed up under the tracking number listed. Hunter told me to be patient but he finally told me (after I complained again) that it was lost in China Post somewhere. He is sending out another one and extended the buyer protection another 30 days. I suppose this means I won't see anything before June now. If I don't see any tracking movement soon, I will just request a refund. This is my first experience with something from AliExpress not showing up at all. I have had stuff show up late but not just disappearing.

I have one more on the way. not sure why it did not ship with the second one but I am sure it will show up.
So far all of my experiences with Aliexpress have been good. Even had a bottle regulator replaced free because it was blowing burst discs.
I hope you get yours soon. It really is a very nice scope for the price.

I received mine, I like it but I can't get the crosshairs in focus if I zoom past 10X. Not sure why, other than the adjustment on the eyepiece won't screw out far enough. It may joy be my eyes, but if I go full zoom and adjust focus on the target, I can't see the crosshairs!

Only issue is reticle illumination is only a single center point so no holding over in low light, may be an advantage for videoing night work...

That's also what I thought when I first looked at it in the daytime. Turns out the remainder of the reticle has a subtle backglow that is absolutely fantastic for nighttime use. Whereas most illuminated scopes I've used at night will totally wash out even on the lowest setting. The illumination on this one is my favorite thus far.

Agreed. I do not use the IR on any of my other scopes but these are really nice.
I too wish I had just a bit more adjustment for eye relief. My second was a little better than the first, and the first is very usable.

I rarely use the IR function either, I normally don't even have batteries installed! I do like the dot only illumination though, almost like a red dot superimposed on a normal reticle!

Forgot to mention my scope finally showed up last week even though I ordered it a day or two after the initial posting here. The package was pretty beat up so I hope the scope is OK. The funny part though is that the scope has neither the "Best" logo or the "BSA" logo. Well, live and learn.

I hope there was no damage. My third one took a little while to get here but was fine. I have one on my Nova Liberty and one a Nova Freedom. I think these are amazing for the price.
The other day I took down a ghog at 67 yds from 30' up in a tower. 1 shot DRT.
While I was up there I was scoping the timberline 180-200 yds away. The optics were crystal clear.
Very happy with mine.

My second one arrived about 3 weeks ago. The box wasn't in good shape but the scope is fine.
The first one was branded Bestsight and the second one branded BSA but they are otherwise indistinguishable.
I'm delighted with them. The glass is clear, the turrets have positive clicks that track well, and the etched reticle is very fine even at full magnification so it works well for precision shooting. And as mentioned previously, the illumination is perfect for night time pesting. I have a lot of scopes in the $60 - $120 range and this one ranks very near the top in terms of value for the dollar.

I got my scope about three weeks ago but just finally got around to mounting it up. I put it on my at44 and I am super impressed with it. I love how fine reticle is. It is clear at all magnifications and the reticle stays fine. I am going to order a couple more of these. I do wish it was lighter though.

I am not enamored with the reticle, but that's just me. Mine is still new in the box, and hasn't been mounted to a gun. It's a BSA name on it. $75 shipped CONTUS. No waiting.
