So I ordered a new Uragan in .25...ever since I saw the picture posted on FB, it was love at first sight...mix between the Colibri, Vulcan and a Cricket somehow...after looking at a spec sheet, it was a no brainer for me!
110 shot count in .25! Wow!
-
Looking forward to your review after it arrives.
-
Talk about bottle envy... look at that thing. Where did you order it from ? That is interesting for sure.
-
Cool, looking forward to the day you get it and start posting :)

That’s looks cool and a 110 shots in a .25 is pretty incredible. Can’t wait to see your review of it. Where did you order it from?
-
I ordered it from talon tunes...yes, I will definitely be posting some hunt reports with it soon!
-
Congrats Jimmy, that thing looks awesome! Gonna need a heavy duty fill source to keep that monster topped off haha. Looking forward to yuor review when you get it. I always thought that a bullpup style rifle with a bottle would look funky but they pulled it off with the Uragan!

The Nomad2 compressor will be put to the test on this badboy!...I love the thought of just filing once at home and go hunt all day and not worry about air!...gonna need some spare mags. ;) I'm a fan of the Colibri and this bad boy looks like its Daddy! 8)
-
I am super jealous. Or is it envious... perhaps both.
-
Wow! I like what I see! 8)
How many cc's is the bottle?
-
I went to Talon Tunes to look at it, but nada. :(
-
Nice looking air rifle. What kind of fpe with a jsb mkII can you get? :D

I'm curious to Jimmy, are you just on some new gun comes out call me list or something😄

I guess FB is the source for hot off the press info from IWA 2019...here is what Tony posted on his FB page. There is a specs page in that post for a little more details that were sent to Tony directly via email from the manufacturer.

Here is what is on AGT website for now...
I cant wait!

Tony told me it will definitely be tunable to 60-70fpe...of course a little less on shot count. It's a 50fpe gun out the box according to the spec sheet.
-
That compact might be my favorite out of all the new goodies we see coming out this year. It would be a toss up between that and the dream-tac compact but I like AGT's chances better for durability. Jimmy, any idea what the compacts are going to be selling for?
How long do you think it will take the Nomad to fill that ginormous bottle? Not from empty but just per fill...

I don't know what the compacts will sell for, I just know what I paid for mine $1695. As for the Nomad filling the gun, I have no clue also. But I"m sure it will handle it no problem.
Once I get it, I'll post up pictures and initial thought about the gun. Was told 7-10 days for TT's to receive and check, then a few days after to me. So, I'm hoping in about 12 more days to me. ;)
-
yes, $1695 is correct and 2 week +/- availability is what they told me today for the .30
with 280m/s velocity @ 115 Joule, i bet there is room
for improvement..... ;)
-
$1407 at Krale

$1407 at Krale
Wow, thats a good amount of money in savings...how fast do they ship to US?

Most people report getting their guns within 5-7 days of ordering. It’s incredible how fast they ship.

(Krale) Ordered a P15 on a Sunday night , received it at my door Thursday . I can't get a letter sent across the state much faster .
Had to send them a photo copy of my drivers license with the order .

Thank you for the information. I'm definitely looking into this. Thanks again.
-
$300 is quite a difference.
Yeah Krale will want a picture of your drivers license (to confirm your age) but from what I remember they have a spot right on the order form to upload your picture of it so that made it really easy. You will need to call your bank or CC company to let them know that they should expect a $1400 (or whatever) charge from out of the country otherwise they might block the transaction.
Sweet gun either way, I cant wait to read your review on it!
-
Looking forward to your review Jimmy. :D
-
I can't wait to hear what you think also! Awesome looking rifle!
-
oh man that thing Is sweeeeet! Let us know how she does when she gets in. I can't wait to hear more about how she does. I wonder if you could tune it up in .25 and shoot some slugs sacrificing shot count. Still 50 shots or something for a heavy slug would be awesome.
I forgot all about it. I saw a review of it at shots how I think and then didn't hear anything else but I want one so baddd. I love the look. Sigh unfortunately for me my eyes are bigger than my wallet. Between the airguns and tradional recurve bow shooting and assesories then work and life I have so little time but mostly so little money haha
-
I REALLY like the looks of that Uragan! I can't wait to hear how it shoots.
-
Still patiently waiting...have new scope and rings waiting for when it arrives ;)
-
Hey Jimmy,
have you received it yet ??
krale shows non-stock on all of them.
i really like the .30
good luck with it ;)

Not yet...called Tony last week, he said mid May should be here. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
-
Finally, some tracking info...and according to Tony, I will have the first .25 in the states :D. Arrives next Monday 5/6, to my doorstep ;).
-
Awesome Jimmy! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
-
I envy you! Can't wait to see the groups it produces at distance. CZ barrel, a long one. Please post up your results soon. I placed an order with Krale last week for .25 and .30 Uragan Longs. I had to cancel them both: Found out Friday my wife needs surgery and our part must be paid in advance. Waiting on my refund. $1396 each.
And spot on about calling your credit card company with an overseas Krale purchase. Mine blocked mine three times. Call your credit card fraud department first, and have them on the phone when you press the purchase button.
-
Jimmy, congratulations! Can’t wait to see all the pics and your thoughts! Will be many a ground squirrels nightmare! Woo Hoo!
-
I will be sure to take lots of photos and take it out hunting and put it to good use once I feed it some different ammo to see what it likes.
-
Are we there yet? :)
I'm jonesing to read your upcoming review.
-
Jimmy owning a hundred shot count .25............ those California ground squirrels are so screwed!
-
Will keep checking the forum for pictures and your review.
-
Arrived a little while ago and had to open the box! Took a bunch of pics while I was at it...stay tunned for more! So far, first impression is I LOVE IT! Feels SOLID in hand. Test target from TT is about a dime at 50 yards...I cant wait to take it out to the farms to stretch it's legs!
-
That's really nice Jimmy.
-
Nice to see your new rifle, looks like a fun gun. 8)
-
Looking forward to a full report
-
Jimmy, congratulations! She is a beauty :). Lots of shots in that powerhouse! The Discovery HD rooks mawvelous on her! Woo Hoo! Can’t wait to see the damage on the GS’s at the farms!
-
Now that's a head-turner. Wish I hadn't turned my head; may have to get one. :o
-
Thanks guys. Will report back when I get a chance to get out and shoot her at long distance. Hopefully I get a chance this coming weekend.
-
Ok it's been almost 2 months, do you have a review for us? Perhaps you started another thread?
-
Jimmy, can you post some groups?
-
This sure seems to happen a lot. Postes else where, but not on the GTA. Odd! :o
-
Hey guys sorry for the long delay. I've been busy shooting this gun and fishing alot lately. The main reason why I dont post much on this site anymore is cause of the picture uploading process, takes forever to resize just for this site. Other Forums just drag and drop easy peasy! Anyways. the Uragan has been fantastic! I've posted quiet a few hunting reports, but I'll upload this one pic here so you get the picture of the damage it's been doing recently on the ground squirrels. Sorry, I dont really shoot for groups and all that, I just hunt. I did post on AGN all the different ammo I ran thru it and decided on shooting the Varmint Knocker 31.5gr slugs that are VERY accurate out of this gun. lots and lots of long distance shots past the 125-160yrd range.

Hey Jimmy, try this app, www.imgbb.com (http://www.imgbb.com) I've been using it for about a year now, and it's been working great..........and quick!
I would have to agree with you that posting on GTA is much, much more complicated than it really needs to be.
Thanks for the update! I was guessing that you've just probably been busy fishing ;)
-
Jimmy, you and your Uragan are a great hunting combo for sure! I also just returned from a long range fishing trip and managed 7 YT all @ 50lbs and one YFT and one BFT....hope your fishing was a success!

50lb yellowtail? Where did you go Cedros? That would be the only place I can think of they might get that big. All my fishing is bass fishing, mostly, but I do jump on sport boats from time to time. Super busy with my Rod Building business too...not much time to fish or hunt! Doh!! :o

Jimmy, we were on an 8 day and went to Guadalupe Island as we had a permit. We actually went there to wait for the BFT to chew but hit the mother load on these monster YT and picked off a few YFT then went out and got some BFT. Every angler lost more YT than caught even with some using 130lb line. We were the only boat at the island luckily. Glad your rod building is keeping you busy but not keeping you from fishing! LOL!

Man that sounds like an awesome fishing trip! 30lb yellows fight like crazy, can only imagine what a 50lber feels like! Yes, fortunately, my rod building business supports my airgun and fishing addiction, so it's all good.

Guys, this may be a helpful hint.
Load your pics into your computer under Documents rahter than my pictures.
when you hit Attachments and other options at the bottom of the reply or post, it will list areas to look for them. Click on my documents, and open the pic. That is all there is to it.
For whatever reason, if in my pictures, the gate will not accept most types. But from documents, it will. No resizing. Just select. ;)

Knife,
It worked! Awesome! Thanks for that tip! ;) I created a folder in my documents folder and dropped those two pics in it for testing. Uploaded and no resizing needed.

any more updates on this ? How would you compare it to a Taipan ? I've been looking at the Taipan compact .25 .... obviously better shot count but besides that ?

Dinh, sorry to reply SO LATE! These YT are the chunkiest YT I have ever caught, fat content is crazy! This Island produces fish that are different than anywhere else I have fished...meat color is different, taste different due to fat content, even a commercial fisherman I gave some to knew it came from there after he saw and ate some without me telling him where I caught it! Good hamachi is tough to beat 😉. This island is a white shark haven! Deep blue the largest female WS on record frequents there. The island looks prehistoric.
-
You're very welcome Jimmy. Lov'n that gun of yours!!! 8)

Crickets Jason. That's all you are going to get: crickets. I have Taipans. Would LOVE to have an Uragan, but: Months ago I ordered two Uragans because of the long CZ barrel, but quickly cancelled the order, preferring to wait and see until someone posted up some 100 yard groups to see if the Uragan's extra CZ barrel length awarded tighter benchrest groups. I'm still waiting for the owners of Uragans to proudly report their superiority over the Taipan's shorter CZ barrels. But, so far, only crickets. Attestations and pictorial evidence to the Uragan's precision on paper at distance has been conspicuously absent from the forums. Been checking periodically. The silence speaks volumes to me. Sub-minute of pigeon is outstanding, but 5 inside 1.04" at 100 is the proof I'm looking for, and it ain't out there, lest not I can find.
Go with the Taipan for now, if, IF you can find a true ORIGINAL Taipan, one MADE IN THE UKRAINE. You can always buy a Uragan later, if and when the proof is posted. I will. And for what it is worth in considering your possible purchase of a .25 instead of .22 Taipan, my CZ-barreled .22 Long is consistently more accurate that either my LW-barreled .25 Standard or LW .25 Long at any distance, but especially at 100.

I'm not much of a bench shooter, I'm a hunter and that is what I use my airguns for. If my gun can do a dime size group at 50 yards, I'm good with that and I'll let chairgun do the rest of my testing. I've never shot for groups at 100, I don't need to. Here is proof that chairgun works, most of my shooting is from 60-150 yards. I'm shooting nothing but slugs from my Uragan. Having owned Taipans I can say, both are VERY accurate guns. If you like shot count like I do, get the URAGAN!

Never a big fan of bottled guns,.
But the Uragan is one of the very few that I really, really like.
-
Yep the Uragan sure checks a lot of the boxes . Pretty sure we’ll never see them here in Canada so I’ll have to drool over my screens.

I love mine. It's accurate, it has high shot count, love the mags and is plenty powerful out the box with slugs.
-
Just got my .30 Uragun a couple of days ago waiting on the scope rings and bipod
Can’t wait to shoot it.
-

I've been trying to get more info on these 530cc and 210cc bottles. Are they made specifically for AGT?

Congrats on the new gun! 8)
