Has anyone done a photo or picture transfer on a gunstock ? After looking at many YouTube videos on the subject, I did my first one on a piece of walnut. My granddaughter lost her dog and I did one for her in memory of him and I thought it came out decent.
After seeing it, I thought this method has a lot of potential to do on a gunstock with either scenery, animals or whatever subject matter you like.
If anyone has done this please post a picture, I would love to see it.

Frank, that is very nice. She will keep that her whole life. How did you do that? Craig

Thanks Craig. It's very simple. Check out, " transfer a photo to wood" on YouTube, many different videos on how to do it.
This was my first try and it came out decent. I'm planning on experimenting to see how it would come out on a gunstock. My main concern is after the picture is transferred and the different sealing methods.

Really came out nicely. I can also see potential for transferring an image for carving or stippling for those so gifted! Me, not so much.....:-(
