Could anyone send me the dimensions of the Marauder degassing tool? Length, diameter and length of forward tip, diameter and length of larger main shaft?
I know the thread size already so don't need that. Thanks.

Mechanics don’t bother with those things.
I saw motorhead stick a small rod into the hole and it is pushed against the valve stem....whoooosh!

Degasser? We don't need no stinking degasser!

If you have a hand pump you could just pump it up until check valve opens, then just open the bleeder a bit releasing the pressure that way.

Thanks chip!

Does anyone if this tool de-gasses the new Benjamin Semi-auto? Also, what are the thread size?

The end cap is the same as the Mrod’s, I will check to see if the length of the degassing tool is correct when I get home. The SAM is easy to degas by dry firing since you don’t have to continually cock it, just keep pulling the trigger until it full auto’s the hammer (low pressure) and then unscrew the gauge to release the last 50-100 psi remaining.

The Degassing Rod Tim McMurray gave me for my Marauder was a 5" long .285" diameter....rusted rod with a handle that was hanging off his bench. He looked at me and said ," Here's your new de-gasser!" 8) Got home and cleaned it up on my wire wheel. and it stays in my Gun case.... A definite "Keepsake!" ;) dave

I haven't tried the Mrod de-gasser tool in the SAM, yet. Given the short spring pocket, and inch shorter hammer spring, wondering if it may be too long for sam.

Hi there.
Can anyone tell me the thread size & type of thread for the P-Rod Degasser?
Thanks in advance.

Look at the back of your rifle.
Not sure?
Take the rifle to Ace Hardware.

can always just unscrew the gauge a little as well.

Sorry Frank but I live in Malaysia where carrying anything that looks remotely like a "GUN" even a life sized toy imitation will land u in jail so walking into ACE Hardware is definitely out of the question ;D

Hi Liam, I'm just worried about stripping the threads & having the gauge fly across the room or thru a glass window. I will have a lot of explaining to do to the Missus :-[

back it out slowly, like an 1/8th turn at a time until air slowly starts to hiss out. Stop there and let it release air slowly. Loosen it a tad more if air stops releasing. Go slow and you should be ok. if that worry's you too much trying the hand pump trick like Ken suggested might work.

@ Chpmnkh8r
By the way the pictures and measurements of the Degasser you posted, are they for the Benjamin Marauder 0.22 Rifle or Marauder 0.22 Pistol?
