Title: Benlimin 392 and Nielsen's 19gr Ammo Question ?
Post by: wll2506 on February 27, 2019, 02:46:26 PM
Has anyone tried Nick's 19gr or 21gr swaged ammo in their Benjamin 392 ? The BC of these little gems is .065 or .073 .... which really changes the ball game and GREATLY extends the range of this gun ... If they will shoot ?

I would love to know what the velocity is in a standard Benji 392 if you are shooting any of these slugs ?

Will,

Not exactly what your looking for, but I was shooting 22 gr gamo ts22 gr. At 20 yds. Indoors last night and sticking them in 3/8” and less round holes shot after shot in my 392.

With the bc on the ones your talking about, i’m looking forward to any replies you get on them.
I’ll be watching this!

I tried to order some today, but he is not taking orders as he is trying to catch up, I'm very happy he is doing well, he is a nice guy ! I will try again next week and order either the 19 or 21gr slugs, have not decided which ?

Well , placed my order for 100ea 21gr .217 slugs today. with a BC of .073 (chose the 21gr for the little added BC and the hope that the velocity will be on par with the Baracuda's). With any kind of velocity at all, these should be awesome ... I will see when I receive them !

In the meantime looking forward to my testing on Saturday with the two JSB's and the Baracuda's.
