hello all !
I upgraded myself with a pistol from the former yugoslavia "Lovna/drulov lov 21"
a nice and funny Czech pistol from the same factory as Drulov DU10, Tau family of airguns and Alfa proj.
It was meant to be used in all shooting schools of the eastern block before the falling of the wall.
It is a very sharp shooter, all plastic, nice designed budget gun.
the iron barrel inside the polymer is really thick for an airgun.
This pistol mechanism is very similar to Smith and wesson 78G / 79G
the trigger is really light (like a 50 meters "Free" pistol, such as the TOZ 35) so you do NOT want to give it to someone who never shot a pistol.
It uses 8 or 12 grams co2 capsules and can even be bulk filled with the apropriate cap from a Tau model.
the capsule takes place in the handle reverse way and bulk fills the internal tank once you screw the cap.
It is the first step in budget sovietic serious 10 meters shooting.
a great fun.
voilà...
à bientôt !

That sounds quite interesting. Can you post pictures?

It is from the former Czechoslovakia, not Yugoslavia. The company, Lověna družstvo, still makes them. They are still in business. A couple of years ago, they advertised their main line of business being the manufacture of springs, checking now, they advertise the two models of airgun, LOV-21 and LOV-2.
I had one that a neighbor gave me. It was missing the rear sight, just a slotted screw remained there, which I sighted down. Tried to get in touch with the company that makes it to get a replacement sight, but didn't get very far. My wife called them, I think they said to shoot them an email, and then nothing.
Dispatched many rats with it. Lent it to a friend a couple of years ago, so far he hasn't returned it!

They used to be sold here by ??? out west by a company that still may sell Tau products, I can't remember the company's name but if iirc the person I spoke to was Boris ??? iirc there were problems with C02 leaking. Just missed buying a Tau Safari sporter from him, still regret to this day :(

company run by Boris and his two sons is closed. One of the sons brought the Lov 21 into this country, as the family was from the Czech Republic. I had a Lov 21 and could never understand why they did not sell more of them, fun little shooter. Like so many air guns I sold it.

Peter, Boris, and Rada
Peter did this pistol for me. They had an online store called Top Gun Airguns. Now owned by someone else.
