After a few months of planning, then watching all my plans change, i didn't know if i'd get to lay my hands on a pcp rifle or not. Finally the first of my new guns has arrived. This was actually purchased just a few days ago as the pneuma i ordered is out of stock and may always be. I saw this .22 marauder on the classifieds described as 4 months old, dented and painted. The seller was being honest about condition and fair about price. I paid $303.00 for the gun including shipping and am happy to see a 6x scope already mounted, 3 mags and no damage to the metal. The stock has a ding or two but the paint is a perfect base coat to the camo job i'm getting ready to throw on it. I'm not sure whether i should wait for the adapters to arrive so i can shoot it or just start painting ???
I am VERY pleased to note that the gun doesn't feel near as bulky as i was afraid it would, it's actually got a good overall balance and feel to it, i think i'm gonna fall hard for this one... i hope she doesn't get jealous of the .45cal 909 when she arrives.. ;D

I've got to say that everything i ever heard good about the marauder is true. The fed ex guy came a bit ago with my adapters for the scuba tank and everything actually fit together perfectly. I easily filled the gun to 3000psi and disconnected everything without an explosion. Went so well. I grabbed my junk pellets, some kodiaks, and sat down on the back steps. For my first ever pcp experience i fired 5 shots at a pizza box, at about 15 yds, using the first shot as a point of aim as the scopes not sighted in.. All four went through the same hole. I don't know if i was more amazed by the accuracy, the trigger or the silent shot. I'm going to have to chrony the gun to verify fps as the sound doesnt seem to equal out with power. I rang my swinging steel at 30 yards repeatably and it seemed to have some umph behind it. This is the most accurate airgun i've ever fired without a doubt, i know this already. I can't wait to get the scope sighted in, run the chrony numbers and find some great pellets. I'm pretty thrilled with it, it even says "Made in America" on the receiver, true or not, i like seeing it.
This is a gun i doubt i will be parted with, seems to be a keeper ;D Thanks David, camo it may be. Tryin to come up with a name for the finish it's got now... urban overspray green?

Got a chance to do a couple groups while the wife was mowing the lawn.. just a couple but it gives me hope that this gun will like several different pellets. I'm pretty sure from messing around with it last night that it likes the 21gr. kodiak, and it for sure likes the 20.5gr. predator, which i don't think i can get easily anymore, my last thousand had to come from england and they ended up VERY expensive. The ultrashock seemed to have promise but may be getting to heavy for the power level produced by the gun. The rabbit magnums went everywhere. It seems that 18-21gr. will give me a decent velocity if i can just narrow down the most accurate variations.. J
