I'm a fan of FWB's, having just received a new sport from Santa Claus. I'm also a big fan of 10m vintage precision rifles. One major issue is i'm right handed but left eye dominant so I have always shoot left handed. I can shoot most right handed guns left handed but it's usually a compromise. I have a few FWB 601's and a 602, all right handed but fantastic to shoot. (If you have never shot one, you owe it to yourself to try. Triggers are awesome.) So I said if I was going to search for a 603, i wanted a left handed one so I could shoot it comfortably. So thanks to some good timing and some help from great airgunners from around the world, I am now the proud owner of what I understand is a fairly unique left handed, multicolor Fwb 603. It is an outstanding rifle and I'm grateful to have it in my collection. Some pictures for fans of multicolor laminate stocks.

What a great find! I’m in the same predicament as you, right handed but shoot lefty. I owned a 603 righty for a few years but sold it. I have an lgr righty that is okay to shoot lefty but I’m alway compromising with a right handed stock. That is avery unique laminate. I’ve not seen that one before. I really do not like the color of the typical 600 series stocks (yellow) :-\. I stripped and refinished mine to a different color that was much nicer to look at. Coincidentally, I just refinished a 603 for a shooting buddy that came out really cool looking. It was that nasty yellow before I refinished it. Here is a pic.

Wow I do really like that dark wood on that 603. Great job refinishing it. I'd be afraid to strip one down to refinish it. To be honest, the left handed action does take some getting used to, but it's nice to be able to line up comfortably to shoot from the bench. Love the multicolor stock, you don't see them very often.

Why don't you guys all get custom stocks????????????????????????????????????????
T-Higgs, I know you make a pretty terrific one. Hate to says it but maybe necessity was the mother of invention?
Lefty are suggested to make up 20-25% of the general population, but in airgun land you are the most discriminated against.
Glad to see you guys are managing just fine. 8)

A different approach for lefties - like me! Train yourself to shoot either way until you have no weak or strong hand and can use whatever equipment that is available.
I trained myself to shoot either side using the correct eye with rifle, shotgun, pistols. It took time and a lot of work but it paid off because I am now blind in my left eye!! So I have to shoot right handed.
I shot Smallbore prone for years right-handed because left-hand gear was unheard of. I hunted right hand with a bolt rifle and left-hand with an auto shotgun because it was quicker and I didn't mind getting a few empties bounced off my face.

That is a Beautiful rifle Nick... Congrats!
now being a Right handed Right eye dominant sort, how ironic I was searching the auction sites this past weekend for my a FWB / Walther / Anschutz purchase... and everything I saw was for a southpaw. :o

Beautiful 603, and a true lefty too! I'm right handed but shoot lefty and have a RH 601 in a LH stock. For 10M bench it's perfect (IMO), shoot, cock and shoot again without ever picking it from the rest. If it were a true LH rifle I'd have to pick it up to cock it after every shot.

I acquired a 603 3 months ago. My previous rifle was PCP Ancshutz 2002. It was also very nice BUT I enjoy cocking the 603. It's extreme spread is only 2 fps. I now use this rifle to test my chronograph.
Enjoy...……...Mine likes H and N Final Match.

Thanks all. Love to share these posts.
Yogi- I've thought of custom leftie stocks, especially for a nice prosport in .177 I have. Priced out one from CS in the UK but it's not an inexpensive addition to a pricey rifle.
Dtdt - I've tried forcing myself to shoot right handed, even so far as using an eye patch to cover my left eye. Just cannot seem to overcome it. Very frustrating as rh stocks are much easier to find.
Hoosier Daddy- please forward me those left handed links😀
Justin - I agree the cocking right handed feels more natural but find lh stocks for any of these rifles is not easy. I'm still searching out one for my 300s. Did you ever decide to sell one of your spares? 😁
DonC - I'm shooting old daisy wadcutters. It's way more accurate then I can shoot. It's just gun to get that close....consistently😁
