Title: New to me Beeman Wood stocked Sportsman Dual caliber.
Post by: Titan NP/Silver Kodiak on December 30, 2018, 11:41:57 PM
Sent the Silver Kodiak down the road to my daughter an bought the Gas ram version.  I like the Gas Rams as the Titan Nitro is my other Air gun. I just like the smooth shooting action . They are just so much easier to shoot accurately  and I don't have to worry about how long they are cocked.  I did the initial sight in with a good scope on it.   Ran a 10 string over the chrony for an average 733 fps with CMHP 14.3 gr.  Now it was cold out in the 30's so I wasn't expecting the advertised 830 fps.  I'll do it again when its warmer out to get a good set of numbers. I really like the feel of this one . snice for off hand shooting.

That is right about the speed they shoot with a 14 gr pellet in .22. I have a spring and a gas ram version, both fun shooters for sure.

Are u saying you replaced the Silver Kodiak with a Beeman wood RS2 dual cal gas ram or a Titan. My old RS2 springer still shoots good with the stock cut down a little, painted black and with pistol scopes on the barrels. First air rifle I bought as an adult since I paid $12 for a Daisy 94 bb rifle when I was 12.

Really well I hoped to get closer to 800 fps  ! I  know this isnt a Magnum like the Kodiak! It's definately more accurate though !

I do have a gas ram version of it called the Bison, but have not been inside to check or measure. I would assume a regular Crosman Nitro piston may fit.
