Hey guys.
I recently received a .22 mrod from another user. huma regulated and MMHF Barrel. It is very accurate and shooting at 30fpe for 45 shots. The Reg is set high at 2100. Seems to high just for slinging 18.1 grains.
It also has a hill valve and is ported .160 all the way.
If I were to move the breech & Barrel and mount it to my brod which is ported .1875 throughout. Is that .160 port at the barrel going to choke the air flow that bad? or should it be slinging these 18.1 pretty fast?
I was shooting .25 jsb at around 880 FPS.
My .25 Barrel is currently at JSAR getting a tensioning kit.
I am going to do this when I get home from work today. Just wondering if there is any info on this. Lots of info about converting .22 to .25 but nice vice versa .
My hopes were to be able to Relax my hammer spring a bit to tune it down to 880 - 900fps with jsb 18.1.
My brod current reg setting is 1900psi.
Thanks guys!

It should throw them pretty good your probably using a heavier spring in the brod my bet is you'll have to turn it down

You can sling the 18.13 at the 880-895 level with just a stock valve and ports, so no trouble doing the same with a .160 port. That's what I do with my .22 with MMHF barrel, which has a stock valve and ports.

So i put the .22 upper on my .25 lower. and it spit out the 18.1 grain at 950.
Turned down the hammer spring quite a bit and brought it down to 890-900. This will work for now. I probably won't do any shot strings anytime soon since I don't have that many 18.1 gr.
Loving this MMHF barrel. its so accurate.
