Ran into one of my lead scouts . He found 20 pounds of lead fishing weights at a garage sale for me for $ 10.00 . While I was talking to him a trap shooter said he had about 200 pounds of lyman lead bars that needed to go . He had thought about the dump but said we could make a deal next week . Then the president of the club had cleaned out the storage room and found 20 pounds of reloaded 12 gauge shells no one wanted to risk shooting so he gave those to me to pull the lead out of . That was after a good morning of shooting . Marvin

I wish that either I had some melting and molding equipment or had a friend nearby with some because I have several hundred pounds of lead thats just laying around. I had collected it years ago for a friend that made bullets for black powder and smokeless powder guns and various spinner baits and sinkers. But alas, he lost interest and sold all his stuff.

Sorry to hear . I am too far away to help in that way . You can melt lead in just about any thing . Old pots work well . If you decide to sell it let me know . I am always looking for lead .Marvin

Had a good day at the range today . Wind calmed down and I was able to get some good shooting in .
When I was done I talked to the trap shooter that said he had some lead he wanted to get read of . He had not gotten to the bars at the bottom of the pile . But he had 300 pounds of lead with him . He said $ 50.00 would cover it and he would dig out some more for me . Marvin

If you ever sell lead and send it somewhere you can't beat the USPS flat rate priority mail boxes. A friend of mine sent me a 25 pound bag of shot once in one of these flat rate packages and the mailman told me it was the heaviest flat rate box he had ever delivered.
