Title: Gauntlet .25 Barrel Band Insert?

The Gauntlet came in from pyramid today. I haven't been able to shoot it, but just going over the rifle I noticed the insert (shim) that is supposed to be under the barrel band is missing from my gun. So essentially my shroud is free floating until I make a fix or get the part. You can see it is supposed to be a plastic piece that is on one side and goes only halfway through the barrel band. I will chrono a shot string tomorrow but I may be out on accuracy for a while.

It's being reported that quite a few are missing(mine included) Best bet would be to try & contact Umerex, who supposidly  will send to you for free.

You can easily substitute an o-ring.  I'm willing to bet as time goes on we will find many replacing the OEM hard plastic insert with o-rings anyway.

What did you use? O-ring should work as proposed.

I received mine yesterday and it appears to be all there.  Regards, Tom
