Ok so I purchased a Benjamin Trail NP XL in .22 for $100. The scope is destroyed already after about 25 shots. This is the first AR I’ve bought that didn’t have iron sights. What I’m asking is what is a reliable optic in the 3-9 range for about $250 or less. I’ve read hundreds of reviews on multiple optics but most of them do not sound confident or knowledgeable. Thank you in advance for you knowledge

Hawke Airmax would be worth looking at.

Most included scopes only are to make you think you're getting a deal on the rifle. My personal favorites are, and Jim mentioned them, Hawke Airmax scopes. The 3-9x40 AO falls inside your budget, has a life time warranty and was designed and built expressly for use on spring and gas rammed air rifles. I own 2 of the 3-9's and 4 of the 4-12's, all on springers and have never had an issue with any of them.

I know this one will hold up against the double recoil of a NP. It has the TS (true strength) build. I went with the 4x16x44 compact myself on my NP after it destroyed two other scopes. This held up just fine and has great features for the price.

I’ve looked at both of those and was leaning towards the Hawke. I shoot a lot and real life experiences have taught me that over time anything will break. How does the Hawke and the UTG compare in the warranty🇺🇸

I have never had a Hawke or a warranty issue with my UTG to answer that, sorry.

I have had scopes replaced by both Hawke and UTG under warranty. I didn't have a problem with either company getting the scopes replaced. Just my personal preference but I like the Hawke airmax scopes over UTG.

Never owned a Leapers/UTG but have something like 25 Hawke scopes between the above listed Airmax scopes, plus Vantages, Panorama's and an older Sport HD that's still holding it's own very well and have never needed to test the warranty on any of them.

Had a Hawke Vantage go bad ( rotated reticle ) Hawke replaced it without any issue.

Thank you everyone. I believe I’m going with a Hawke airmax from what I’m reading they seem to be the go to. I plan on getting one around the first of Jan and I’ll give an update then🇺🇸
