A little more info, as to what your using the gun for would help.

If this is either or else I'd go with Hawke.  Leapers honors their lifetime warranty well - with sales receipt.  I don't know if Hawke honors theirs, I can only go on what I read.  I've never had a reason to send in a Hawke on warranty.  I have three Hawke scopes and one Leapers.  If you're scoping a PCP though you don't need a springer rated scope.  The Discovery has virtually no recoil.

No experience with Leapers having never owned one but I have something like 25 Hawke scopes, have absolutely no complaints and have never had to put their warranty to the test.

What is the price point you are looking at? I think a ffp scope is the best for a pcp hunting air rifle.  The "dope" will work on all magnifications, and you can use the retical.

I have always had great luck with Hawke scopes. Had 2 scopes go bad that were discontinued, and they were replaced with a new model that was better. If memory serves me, I have 9 of their scopes.

Wes at Airgunarcheryfun is a great guy to deal with. I had trouble and he made things right. The Discovery HD 3-18x50 34mm is great at range finding.

If you find these are a bit pricey for your taste... Get over it, you're into airguns now!

Just kidding ;D ;D

There are some scopes on Amazon branded as "CVLife" that are pretty affordable, and the one I had was well worth the price.

mark,

i gotta agree with you on the $35  cvlife 6-24x scope.
i had no problems at all with mine.

The only advice I would give is to find it in a mil dot version,
instead of that goofy rangefinder reticle.
(i was not a fan of that reticle lol)

that looks EXACTLY like the bsa 4-14x44 first focal plane i used to have,
right down to the knurling on the turrets and the 1/10th mil clicks.

it was well worth the $250 i paid for it a bunch of years ago,
so i imagine you are going to be very pleased with that one for the price you paid.

I had a chance to look through it , and play with the adjustments, so far so good, now what gun to mount it on  :-\ Bullboss .25, Airforce escape .22 slug gun... or the new unscoped Liberty.
