Title: Have you ever had to make up your mind?
Post by: SSG Grampo on November 22, 2018, 06:17:46 PM
I wanted to get the SIG Sauer M17 U.S.Army replica pistol. After a case, and laser the price was getting up there. Have also been keeping an eye on Cabela's $229 D34 .22cal combo with lockdown mount and AO scope. I did not want to spend the extra $ but I went with the D34.

If deciding what I wanted next counts then yes, but I've never had to choose between two airguns.

I spend a long time planning the purchase of a PRod.  Had it all figured out, which pellets were known to work, optics, , what type of aftermarket goodies I needed... The whole nine yards.

I'd been a member here a short while but was coming here lurking a good bit longer.

Then I ran across this little Chinese PCP pistol.  Gentleman here shared his review, and shazam, I punched the order from Krale and was shooting that little Chinese PCP a couple days later.  That PP700 was perfect for my needs.  I'll still own a PRod eventually- gotta find the right deal, ya know.  But this just drives home that even when you make up your mind a year or more in advance something could happen that will send you down a different path.

Peter, your so right. It's always fun to be thinking about the nest one, whenever it happens.

Makes me wonder why Crosman doesn't have the PRod in the Custom Shop as an option to deck it out.

I just think Crosman is missing a slice of the market by not bringing out a "Maximus Pistol" single-shot.  Something along the lines of a PCP 2240- I'd be the first in line.

Congratulations on your new purchase!  You should have some fun with that one.

I just ordered the SS M17 from PA today!  This is a first for me having a blowback replica.  I’m really looking forward to it.

That is the one!  It also took my 11% coupon from that.  Only bummer about it is the tax and the shipping.  I’m still happy to have one on the way soon.
