Title: Benjamin Prowler Dead

Hi all

My Benjamin died today.  Cocked her and she let loose a soft hiss.

Gun is maybe 4 months old at most; purchased from WM.

What's the cost of a replacement NP from Benj?

Should I just return the rifle; not sure about the recipt?

According to the Pyramyd site the warranty on that model is five years.  Dig for the receipt.  If you put it on a credit card you may be able to get a replacement receipt from the transaction number.  I think a new gas strut is $30 or $40 plus tax and shipping from Crosman.

It's probably worth calling Crosman directly, explain the situation, and see what warranty options you have. They might send the replacement parts at no charge.
If you need a receipt or just want to return the gun to Wal-Mart, they can probably look up the receipt with your cc number and item upc. They may give you an exchange or store credit even without a receipt.
