It should be here in a couple weeks, I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas!
-
You're gonna LOVE it!!

I’m jealous 😩😩😩😩!

I shoot LH and good rifles don't come along that often so I bought it. I'm anxious to see how it stacks up to my 300's.

Haha! Good thing you pulled the trigger on that one, another member (Calmark) and I were both looking at that rifle because we both shoot lefty. When you see a nice lefty rifle, you have to snag them quickly.
You will love that rifle! I owned a right handed 603 for several years and shot it right handed because I couldn’t find a lefty. A great rifle but I finally let a shooting buddy talk me into selling it to him. I then bought an Anschutz 8002s2 in left hand. Not sure it was any more accurate than the 603 (in my hands anyway). Just sold the Anschutz and on the lefty search again... ???

I have both, a 601 and a 300S. My 601 is very accurate. It require some concentration when cocking it, and it has a different feel than my 300S when cocking it. My 300S cocks with less effort. They are both very nice rifles. My 300s and I both show some honest wear, but I show more.

Was it the LH 601 that Carel had listed over on the AA site over the weekend?
It was a good looking rifle, priced right, and if I didn't have a 603 I would have been on it.
You'll love how they shoot when you get it. It should shoot everything well, from RWS Hobby to HN Finale pellets. I tend to just use RWS Meisterkugeln in most of my 10M rifles. I'm not to the point where a few MMs difference in pellet grouping affects my scoring offhand, I'm happy to stay in the 9 ring...……….. :P
They're pretty easy to rebuild, and all the seals and what nots are available from Nikkonos in Canada as a package deal to rebuild the whole rifle.

It looks like I bought it just in time lol. I had looked at and rubbed around on the idea of buying it but was undecided as I really don't know their value. A buddy of mine has some very nice 10M air rifles so I him check it out, he thought it was a good deal and said he hadn't seen one that cheap and if I wanted one now was the time. I had already e mailed for some better photos so it made my decision easier.
Every time I think I'm set on the rifles I want something pops up that piques my interest. I still have a longing for a 34 in .22 to go with my .177.

Congrats Justin,
I love my 300S and have a yearning to try a 601 / 603.
Luckily I am not a southpaw so it should be a bit easier to find one someday.
Please post those pics when you can.

Yes Chuck this is the rifle Carel had listed.
Bob I have two LH 300S rifles and love shooting them, heck I just like holding them and admiring the engineering and build quality. One is in excellent shape with beautiful wood, the other is some what beat up. I call one the Queen and the other ugly Betty lol, when I put Betty on the shooting bench and bags she's a queen too.

Carel is a good guy to deal with. The transit time from the Netherlands isn't the quickest but that's not his fault, It's usually US Customs that will hold it up in NY or Chicago.
I shagged up on the LH Walther LGV that he had listed at the same time as your 601.
