I've purchased several AR500 steel targets from this company before and they are excellent quality. Right now they have a Veteran's Day sale - code "THANKS" gets 15% off anything and 50% off their smallest 1" and 2" gong targets. Brings the price of those smaller targets down to under $1.25 apiece. That's a very good price for a 2" steel gong. Made in the US by vets.

Just bought a 1", 2" and 3" AR400 version for the AG collection.
Now to built a small frame to hang them.
Got some pvc pipe lying around to put to use now...

dead-eye- your welcome. i set up about a dozen of these around the backyard in the winter and shoot from our walkout cellar door. i just string 'em up with paracord on various tree branches ranging from 10yds out to 45 yds. keeps me shooting in the winter and i don't have to go outside to change out paper.

Thanks -- to you, and our Vets. I got 4 each of the 2" & 3" A400s, to use similar to your situation. Mine will be in the woods off our porch, 30 to 80 yds out, and hopefully high enough for POA above the snow piles lining the driveway (death & taxes, AND snowpiles).
They'll add variety to my other permanent/durable plinkee, see attached (I can't embed yet) [Lodge 3.5" iron skillets]. These A400s will free up a couple of the planned skillets to be stocking stuffers. The girls, little and big, love them--"Oh, those are too cute to shoot."

Thanks for the tip and link. Got me 2 of each 1", 2", and 3". I got the 3/8" thick ones....maybe they'll hold up to a .308...
