Not so simple but I build a complete airgun from scratch. I only have handtools and a drill press so it's all handmade. It is 10mm smooth bore semi auto running off comressed air at about 150psi, so it is tethered. All the materials I scavenged for free so it cost me nothing, took over a year to complete, probably well over 200 hours spent on it. For a Youtube video of it search for BFG 2018 updates.
