Hi all, just wanted to share an observational discovery that goes under "why didn't I think of that" ...for me.
I was watching a video of a Marine sniper using a 50Cal in combat. 2 things I noticed: he was rockin' a Schmidt&Bender (good recommendation), and #2: he stuck a piece of Moleskin to his cheek piece. I thought this was a great idea, for capturing a consistent weld and mostly for comfort... not that my Mrod kicks like a 50cal...
but I just really liked the idea, and wanted to share.

Yes,
I wrapped my home made cheek piece on my 1322 carbine
with a leather than fit using the velcro it had on it and it
feels much better than other 13XX carbine with the other half
of the part I made my cheeks out of.
I don't know what it was off of but it fit and is black
so I tried it on it and now wish I had another one.
