A topic I haven't run across...
Does a LDC cut down the FPS?  Anyone done any chrony tests?  just curious..

No they should not ... velocity of a given pellet is created while in the confines of the barrel, once exiting the pellets speed is at it's maximum.
The presents of an external can / chamber beyond the muzzle should have no effect on the pellets speed unless contact is made between said pellet and the parts of the LDC etc ...

Now one could in a poorly designed LDC place the air exiting behind the pellet to get channeled AHEAD of the pellet as it passes down the internal confines of the LDC in which the pellets speed could get damped to some degree as well destabilized too.

generally this IS NOT an issue with quality or well designed LDCs  ;)
