I got my QB78 setup for bulk, but get relatively few shots from a fill. Maybe the fill tank should be upside down or something. What is the proper procedure to fill from a paintball tank?

Yes, if your fill tank don't have a siphon tube you must turn it upside down. Also, the rifle must be cooler than the tank your filling from. And, must be lower than the tank so it can drain into the rifle. I lay my rifle on the floor. During this hot weather I set my tank outside the door and keep the rifle in AC house. Pass the hose through the doorway to the rifle laying on the floor. Do it the opposite during the winter months....

yup more or less what fnash said.... either have the tank setup as a siphon tank (easy to do its just a copper tube that reaches to the bottom of the tank....) or just simply turn the tank upside down so your getting liquid and not just vapor....

This is by far the best video for bottle/bulk filling I've seen yet.
They stress safety and how to get a good fill every time.
Hope this helps
Thanks
