For a very short time, OP had the Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP Riflescopes on sale for $255 and I picked one of them up. I bought the one with the EBR-2C (MRAD) Reticle. The build quality is exceptional. The turrets operate better than any scope that I've used out of Sightron, Hawke, Athlon, Bushnell and UTG Scopes. They have clear clicks and just the right amount of firmness when turning. I really dislike when the turrets turn too easily. The zoom and PA knobs operate with the perfect resistance. Unfortunately, that's where the benefits end. The optics are OK - about the same as higher end UTG scopes. The main problem is that the eye box is the most finicky I've experienced on any scope, being virtually unusable past 16X. The eyebox is ok at lower magnifications. The interior looks VERY SIMILAR to that of Aztec scopes, so I suspect they are made by the same overseas manufacturer. There is an included sunshade which works well. There is no sidewheel included or available, but a UTG wheel with the interior rubber nubs removed fits perfect. There are no caps, only a bikini cover - which I am not a fan of.
I bought this as a possible field target scope, to use in hunter class at 16X. I set the scope up using the A-Teams procedure and started to do my ranging with the sidewheel, but became so frustrated with the eyebox that I gave up. So I have no idea how accurately it ranges. I may try it again at some point in the future, we'll see...
I would say this is an ok scope for $250, but not above this price point. I give it an A for Build Quality, B for Optical Quality, and a C- for Usability (Mainly because of the finicky eyebox).
OCT 2018 UPDATE:
Over the weekend, I decided to give this scope another shot and tested out the ranging using a 4" sidewheel. This scope actually ranges pretty well at closer distances but is VERY mushy at farther distances. It's not suitable for FT. The other big issue is still the finicky eyebox. If you are off by just a hair, the sight picture is blurry at 16X and up, when under 50 yards. Over 50 yards, the eyebox becomes more forgiving. My original opinion stands - this is not a scope for HFT. This IS a nice scope if you are shooting past 50 yards and don't use the PA for ranging.

These are listed @ $399xx now on Optics Planet. Good review, obviously not what you're looking for. It's normal for the eyebox to be tight on high magnification scopes, just something you except or move on to a much larger objective to get a more forgiving exit pupil.

You may want to look at the exit pupil size before your next purchase, good luck. Low magnification yields very bright sight picture as high magnification yields dark or useless sight pictures. you may want to look through a scope before purchase or read a lot of reviews, good and bad ones. ;)

Very nice information, thank you! ;)

I owned one of these scopes up until yesterday. I only used it for two range trips with my .308 powder burner, but I have nothing bad to say about the scope.
It looks and feels exactly like the first gen Viper PST, which was selling for ~$800 for the past few months. I owned one of those for about 6 months, shot multiple .22lr matches with it. I suspect these new Diamondbacks have the same guts as the 1st gen PST's. The only reason I sold the Diamondback is because I got a steal on a Viper PST gen 2.

I see you never gave that Falcon a try then, haha. On that note, check back in on that review in a few minutes. I'm about to update it ;)

I'm glad that I happened back on this thread. I appreciate your review update. I just might have to give one of these scopes a try.
Thanks!

Moved from the optics gate to the Review Gate because it's actually a product review.
