Once more the GTA proves it’s the best Airgun forum bar none . Big thanks to DEz and Rocker1 for getting this going . Many thanks and looking forward to sharing from a newbie point of view when it comes to casting ammo .

... and here it is already  ;D
Playing with molten lead has been a hobby of mine since the age of 10 when I discovered I could melt it in a few thicknesses of  HD aluminum foil over a candle, then pour it into molds I made with the same foil.
Now its fun to make more "useful" items  ;D

My Granddad taught me casting when I was 6 years old. I still enjoy it immensely nearly 54 years later.

I have thought about casting in doors but never got around to setting up a squirrel cage fan for exhaust so I'll probably continue to do it outside like I always have.

Spent the afternoon melting down range scrap. My range scrap. So far, recovered over 200 lbs. More to come. Just dodging the rain. LOL!

Yes, very much appreciate this being here. Has not much to do with machining anything, so a bit confusing.  In fact, myself and only one other are all I know of that are machining anything on molds.  But very happy we have it! Very Happy!

Thanks Dave and Rocker! ;)   8)
