yes,
I hope all our members and families and friends are safe.
I'm sitting here on the opposite side of the states, and can't really imagine what a hurricane is really like.
Hang in there and stay safe.

Good wishes for all fellow airgunners, ones, and their families being impacted by big storms.  Especially my friends near and around Wilmington, NC.  FX Airguns USA is located there and I sincerely hope they are taking proper precautions for the dangers they may face.  Some very kind people I’ve dealt with who work there!

Be safe, Grace & Blessings!

I'm fortunately sitting just West of it's projected path.
I hope everyone stays safe.

Just what you need Bill, more rain. I am flooded right now and really don't want anymore either. Luckily the disturbance in the gulf and Issac have run their course so hopefully in the next few days my area will dry out a little.

Yeah we don't need any more rain either but at least we're not getting blasted by a hurricane.

I'm headed that way. Got 42000 pounds of generators for them.

That sounds like a trailer full. I hope they don't have the same problem we had up here on Long Island NY after "Sandy" lots of gas stations had full tanks and no electric for the pumps. I waited several hours on line a couple of times to get gas for my generator. No power for a week but I was lucky to live north of the areas impacted by the storm surge on higher ground.

The worst problem was entering and leaving the affected areas after working 14 hour days replacing storm damaged heating systems. Driving down streets lined with the entire contents of peoples homes was depressing and heart wrenching.

My prayers go out to all those being affected by this devastating storm

We had some tornadoes touch down today, one only a mile or so from my wife, but she's okay.  The entire afternoon I was interrupted during support calls by my cell phone doing the Emergency Broadcast stuff

Fayetteville PWC (Public Works Commission) is a customer of mine- talked to them and they're "making it"- for what it's worth.  Sanford and a bunch of others (Wilmington, etc) I've not heard from.  My company's customer list includes lots of municipalities in the region.

I said in a similar thread last week I hope it stayed offshore.    Some coastal places getting hit with storm surge/surf- which is bad but nothing like the catastrophic flooding folks in SC, NC, and VA are experiencing now... When Hurricanes and tropical storms slow down and head inland, they pick up a lot more energy as they stall approaching land, then when they finally head over land, they dump all that energy via tornadoes and rain.

Hurricane Charlie pulled the same stunt late 1989.
