Complete and utter newb here. Just bought a Marauder pistol for my first PCP. Probably going to use an inexpensive Chinese\Ebay pump. Do I need to add a filter for moisture? And if so, what kind? and how\where do I hook it up. If you have a pic of your set up, please post it. I'm a little dense when it comes to verbal/written instructions, ie, a pic is worth a thousand words.
Thanks!

I rigged up a quick coupler on each end of the hand pump handle,( the intake)
to these I put HF desiccant filters, "ONLY when pumping"!!!
The filters are sealed at each end when not in use so the desiccant is not getting used up.
sorry no pictures

I picked up a cheap hand pump, and set up a moisture filter for it. The pump intake is in the handle, so one end of the handle gets sealed. The area around where the pupm handle attaches to the stem gets sealed with silicone rtv. The other end of the handle gets a bit of fiber fill to act as a particle filter, and a hose barb to attach tubing, The main part of the filter is a plastic peanut jar with a plastic hose barbs hot glued into the top and bottom. There is a big wad of fiber in the top and bottom, and indicating silica gel in between It takes about a quart of gel. The efficiency of a moisture filter depends, in part, on how long the air stays in it. This large a filter gives a pretty long residence time for the air. A piece of silicone tubing long enough to go from the floor to the pump handle at the top of the stroke completes the filter. When not in use, connect the hose from the bottom of the jar, to the top of the jar, to seal against moisture.
