Title: Anyone modify their titan
Post by: rabbitguy on July 08, 2010, 12:05:31 PM
I have a titan, i have only shot it about 200 or so times. I know about the trigger upgrade and plan on getting that done. What else can be done? Can someone give me the barrel diameter, I really would like to replace that muzzle weight with something else. Has anyone chopped the barrel on a titan yet?
SO far it seems like this will be a very good rock dove shooter. can't wait to try it.

Check out this post by Perry

I also have a Titan, I am following this post to find out what Perry finds. My Titan shoots fine. I'm getting close to 2000 rounds. So far I haven't had any problems I'm just waiting for something to go wrong. $150.00 from wal-mart it may not be the best Airgun but for the money it a good shooter. IMO

I started saving for what a lot of airgunner on this site think is a great Airgun. AA TX200

The only mod I have done so far is the Tuna trigger. It is very smooth and shoots cphp's in the 740 range. It has become my favorite shooter. It likes tight fitting pellets. I dug thru a tin of cphp's and picked out everything above .215 head size. They shoot very consistant and accurately. I think it will shoot better with a little heavier pellet also.

I'd also like to know about any mods people are doing.

Regards Skip

Only mods i could see doing, would be a mini tune... seal's, debur and lube...  and possibly a new lighter weight muzzel break... that thing is heavy.  and of course, GRTIII, new scope, and the scope rings are garbage as well... other than that the rifle seemed to be a quality piece... but the nitro pistons do have issues time to time... then others go 10k shots....
