Title: How Many Tins To A Case?
Post by: DevilsLuck on September 05, 2018, 10:33:08 AM
I was going to order some pellets yesterday, only to discover that they were out of stock. Again... Second time this has happened. So my new plan is to go ahead and order a whole case, of the two types of pellet in question. One being the .30 cal H&Ns, and .22cal AAs. So I was wondering if any of you could tell me how many tins come to a case, so I can estimate the cost of an order...

you could always call whoever you're going to buy them from. I doubt many people on the forum buy pellets by the case, but I could be wrong

Pending packaging .... Plastic wrapped sleeves I've seen of H&N are 5's / JSB's are 10's, Cardboard boxed "CASES" IIRC are 30's

But indeed, contact a distributor of said pellets and ask !

* I would be concerned tho of case purchases DUE TO WEIGHT and each tin in said case stacked against another .... Shipping personnel, well as the handling equipment will pay no mind to the weight and fragile nature of a HEAVY BOX OF LEAD and they will get beat to death in transport !!

Good luck

When I find a pellet I like, I order a sleeve at a time (JSBs are typically 10 tins to a sleeve).... have never had an issue with them being damaged....
