Post by: dcmeyer on August 31, 2018, 03:56:15 PM
I've had no luck getting a response from Hatsan  ::)

Does anyone know the twist rate on a .25 Flash?

I'm really bugged that Hatsan does not return emails. I wonder if they will answer the phone Tomorrow.

The Hatsan .25 cal barrels are all 1:17 twist rate . They are just about identical to the specs Lothar Walter gives on their site . Bigger bores than the other manufacturers . .254/.250.

Of course, the reverse way of doing this ( not using math),  press the rod into the bore and place the  tape straight up  12;00 O'clock the point it is contacting  the breach or muzzle if required.

Pull the rod back out slowly until the tape has clocked back to 12:oo o'clock or  straight up again. Measure from breech or muzzle, which ever you used., That is the twist rate.  ;)

I perhaps that also .177 caliber has the same twist rate. Bigger bore and no choke is may be  the reason that they shot well .177 H@N Piledrivers  at long distances.
