Need one for .25 cal
-
these look incredible.nicest breech ive seen for a crosman matter of fact
-
Yep me too so much I got one in blk otw, bet ya it grows up to be a .25 one day soon lol
-
Is he claiming it fits 22xx and marauder, or marauder pistol?
-
Looks to me it will only fit a two bolt breech tube and cal is determined by what barrel and mag you have installed. I have a baker .25 bbl to fit crosman breech been laying around for a while so I ordered a mag airpower 15.5 tube, 60fpe valve, and one of his new hammers w/adjustable striker and thread in cocking pin. Gonna kinda be a prod in .25,,,,,,,,,,,,I hope.

I think he is starting it uses marauder magazines not will fit one.

I'm pretty sure .25 mags are thicker and may be a little taller too.
-
If the breech's from Thailand are similar to the one's from Russia, then this would be for a 22xx or Disco, using Mrod mags and barrel shroud stuff.

I sure hope there's not too much difference. I guess I'll find out soon-ish. ::)

I believe the last post is correct. I recall Googling the breech and found the same seller. "Discovery" was in the description.
-
I'd like to see one mounted to a Discovery or Maximus tube. The thing that would keep me from buying such a cool breech is the lack of compatible barrel band. If he sold a 1" barrel band for the Disco, I would seriously consider this for a custom build.
-
Well it shipped today, cant wait to see how long it takes from Thailand on a slow boat lol
-
they look nice .. 155$ is up there ... if i did not already have a BNM on the disco, i would be slightly tempted
thanks for the heads up
-
I got it today its made pretty well looks like I got to work out a few things to get the .25 bbl and mags to work together, "come on come on lets work together" canned heat, boggie assault 1969ish. I wouldn't want to make it for that amount of$. I will give it a good go round the am, but I think it will do what I want. A lot cheaper than the first one I saw on ebay. Cave

As many others would probably agree Crosman needs a modern factory with the latest tech machinery and just build everything in house, the engineer's would have a field day if they had the opportunity.
-
Benjamin should start making them for the Benjamin Marauder Gen IIIs, it would be an awesome upgrade.

More info on these breeches.......

To repeat what Derick said. Without a barrel band and/or TP port it would be hard justify. Unless I'm missing something?
-
From the video.....looks like you can put any caliber barrel just need to machine it to the id of the barrel sleeve....also look more grip than gauntle to get if free float with no problem. Was gonna order it today but my dang home AC quit last night and for what i paid to get fixed....could have bought 2 breeches....o well😩
-
Anyone with a 3d printer ans a few specs can produce the barrel band easy enough. I made one for my disco with 1/4" riser spacer and it worked great. Also looks like it comes with a transfer port.
-
Magazine fit for .25 would need some work, missing 2 forward breech bolts as well as...
-
I got it first of the week all good so far its worth the money I think. About to go out to the mill and open the mag notch to the .25 marauder size. I got the barrel sleeve done yesterday so I gotta transfer the holes into it. gracious I hate powder coating but I guess I need to finish that today too. I still gotta go ebaying a Magnum Airpower easy cock hammer today also. I should have it riding in a few days and I will do a write up on it. Oh well getting late better get started. Later

These Asian breeches just uses marauder mags... They only fit 13xx, 22xx or disco.
But go to -- there are breeches specially designed for Mrod both versions Gen 1 and Gen 2
-
Wished they were same price....very nice though. With current price point of new ones, makes it easier to decide on tinker or new ready to air up.

I tried to go to the airgunbuy.com site but did not find it. Any way I now have two of the side levers from Bangkok I did one in.25 and one in .30. The .25 is awesome its got a 14in mrod barrel and mag and a single shot tray. I used the magnum airpower 60fpe valve and 15.5 tube and his new hammer with the screw in cocking pin. Its been shooting jsb 25gr at 800fps with very tight groups at 25 to 35 yrds. I am still sorting out the .30 and waiting for a mag only have a shot tray for now, Bill at magnum sent me a 100fpe valve to go in it the other day. It has a 14in lw barrel from Roy at Mountain Air and all the same other hardware except the valve. I really like the smoothness of the action with the .25 its got a pretty strong bark even with a muffler. Still got to come up with a muff for the.30 five shots out of it and the neighbors were out and looking around. I got one more breech coming and its gonna be a .22 as it was intended to be. The guy who makes them showed me a bottle adapter with adjustable regulator he is getting ready to offer soon. I am happy with what I have gotten so far, the last one got here in four days. I am working on getting a camera set up and learn how to post pictures soon I will show them to ya. Later Cave
