Title: Air Rifle carrying case
Post by: Endonirvana on July 16, 2018, 10:40:11 PM
I am looking to purchase a case to carry two or three PCP air rifles with scopes.
Any recommendations?

If you find one, I hope it comes with wheels like a golf cart for your sake.

iSeries 4719 Double Bow Case

Interior Dimensions: 46.00" L x 18.00" W x 7.50" D

This is one of few that I use and it has wheels because with everything it gets heavy once you have to or more rifles in it.

The question for you do your rifles have pistol grips?  Do you have bullpups?  If so you will have hard time with any of them putting them together with that stated as a ( double rifle case) in which you put them side by side such as (Plano Pro Max Double).

With the one that I SKB listed about I have had 4 rifles (2 bullpups and 2 carbine size rifles WAR Flex/Wrap) but had to take scopes off some of them to do so.   70bls of awesomeness!  lol    sorry four (4) rifles 80bls

Down side not cheap

Thank you for the info guys.
I came across this case which is up for sale now for $99 on amazon.

Description includes double scoped rifles and comes with wheels.
Plano All Weather 2 Double Scoped Rifle/Shotgun Case, AW2 gun case, 52"
Has anyone tried this?

Endo, I don't have that exact Plano case, but I have their 42" All Weather case. I've had it about a year & so far no problems. The latches are robust, hinges are tight & the case closes so the edges all mesh up right. It's definitely heavier than other cases, but also feels a lot tougher. I'd say buy it.

On a side note: Just because they say it's a double case, doesn't mean you'll be able to get two particular rifles in the case at the same time. Especially with scopes. Interior dimensions are 51.5" x 14". Length isn't really an issue, but width is. You might want to check your rifles to see how close you can get them to each other & what that measures up to.

Thanks y’all

Update:
I ended up purchasing “Plano All Weather 2 Double Scoped Rifle/Shotgun Case, AW2 gun case, 52" from amazon for $99 during the sale.
This case seems to be well built and so far appears to meet my needs.
