Ok, this is my first post here and I only hope I put it in the right place. I have been reading posts from other members and I can imagine this subject has been addressed many times before. But in fear of getting the wrong parts I will ask here for information.
I have a Gamo Hunter 220 .117 that I want to update. It has been sitting in the closet for several years now and in firing the rifle it seems like it is less accurate then it used to be. I have noticed that it seems like the trigger pulls harder so the new trigger that I have read about in these forums would be in order. (Charlie DT I suspect is my source there. Link to him please>
I would like to replace the spring probably and whatever else would make this gun more like new. Is there a complete kit that would include all of these necessary parts?
What started all of this is that our church has had a infestation of woodchucks burrowing under the concrete pads for the HVAC units. I have been live trapping them and dispatching them from there. It seems that it takes many more shots to do the job then it used to. I have also been doing some target shooting and have a back yard full of squirrels. When I shoot at them now they laugh at me.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks Wayne. Nice to know I am not the only one in Michigan on here..

Hi Charles,
I have my doubts about that rifle (and caliber) for the woodchucks. But I’m just a novice. Maybe anyone with more experience could give you better advice.

Orion, Thanks. When it was new I used to bring down "chucks" at 15 to 20 yards. But I agree I should and probably will be in the market for a more powerful rifle.

For the trigger you probably want a GRT III from www.charliedatuna.com (http://www.charliedatuna.com).
If you wish to replace the spring or piston seal you should first purchase or build a spring compressor.
My first choice for replacement springs and seals is Air Rifle Headquarters but the people at Vortek can supply them also.

# 1 .Clean the barrel.
If it is still not accurate as before, I suggest you need to strip your rifle and do a tuning, like changing the piston seal and cleaning the the cylinder tube and re-lubricate the necessary parts. Check your breech seal too for leakage.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have checked the barrel and did a cleaning and nothing. So I will be moving on to the things that you suggest. Where, in your opinion would I find the necessary parts to do those things. You didn't mention the spring but while I have the gun torn down I also want to replace it.
