Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear sight on a dragonfly? I removed the adjustment screw thinking there might be one under the sight holding it on, but there isn't. Is it glued on like the front sight was?
tnx

On my plinkster and varmint after u remove the screw the sight should slide forward or back to remove. Mine didn’t have any sort of glue..

The only screw I have found is the one that is spring loaded that adjusts elevation, is this the one you are talking about?

I have revisited that screw with the spring, after removing that screw nothing budges. Anyone else have any ideas?

I checked the assembly after we PM'd. Hope you got it off OK.
I wanted to touch base and mention that I will be reinstalling the scew in mine. I have been having some POI shift and noticed that the barrel is not fixed in position with the sight off. In fact I can feel a slight shift of the barrel in that ring when I wiggle the muzzle. It kind of clicks around in the ring slightly. I am not sure the barrel is positioned consistently with the screw out. Even if it is at rest I think that no rattle will be harmonically reproducible for shooting paper, Especially if you change how many pumps you put out. So I am going to try to either make a spacer to use as an upper pump grip to reinstall the screw or put he sight back on. Either way, check for movement on yours.

I was able to get mine off, used a little triflow then tapped it off. I am shooting short distances right now. I have been shooting RWS Meisterkugeln with three pumps. It has been shooting on the money. I have been thinking about going to the dollar store and geting one of those black plastic cuttingboards. Then cutting it to a good size and mount it on the rear sight mount as a pumping platform. But I will take a look at mine and see if I can see a place that the screw might have been stabilizing the barrel.
Tnx for the heads up

Kydex is the plastic that knfe and gun sheaths are molded from. You can buy small pieces off Fleabay. I just got a 7x10 inch piece thats 1/8" thick. Gonna try the same. It's pretty easy to warm with a heat gun to shape it. I am thinking of a very shallow "C: shape that will be in contact with the forarm top on both sides and sit flat on the ring to screw down.
Good luck

Thank you for the idea, I have made a few knife sheaths from it.
Right now there is no movement from my barrel in that location. The gun is shooting on the money. So I am going to leave it as is for now.
