Title: Optima 8-32X50 E-SFT Scope
Post by: Privateer on June 23, 2018, 01:54:58 PM
Looking to up my scope power I found this online for $129 shipped.
I prefer UTG's scopes but the price difference was to hard to pass on.
I'm glad I took the chance on this one! Aside from the reticle, this scope beats the UTG for me.
AO is a side wheel and comes with large turrets everywhere. Easily adjustable on all of them.
The AO side wheel, as it comes, is nearly as large as the small add-on for the UTG scopes.
The large turrets make it super easy to adjust without looking or fumbling about.
Sight picture is right up there with my UTG scopes.

The scope came with the rings pre installed so it was a quick job to mount it on the Nova.
I set up a target at 50 yrds to zero as I rarely shoot under that.
1st POI was left of POA but nearly on the proper horizontal line.
By the time I emptied the 9 shot magazine it was adjusted to get nearly hole in hole!

Now this scope is on the Nova .25 PCP so I won't vouch for it on a springer.
I can hardly wait for the rain to stop to reach out to 100+ yrds with this!

EDIT: Rain let up and I was easily able to read the Pepsi on a can at 100 yrds.
I also was easily able to hit that can. Overall? A very good purchase given the price.

Thanks for the scoop!
I have been looking at this scope for a while for my RAM but dont want to spend 129 dollars just to blow another scope apart. I am really thinking about going PCP to avoid all this scope BS.
I ordered a Optima 2-6x32 pistol scope for my mod 25. should be here Monday. I hope it holds up!

What's the minimum focus distance and what type of reticle?
