Those are pretty good prices but has their packaging improved.  The last pellets I bought from Field Supply were loosely packaged and consequently damaged.

That is good pricing.  Real good for H&Ns.

Thanks for the heads up.  I ordered several tins.  It will be interesting to see how battered they are when they get here.  I've ordered some from Amazon a couple of times recently and despite their abysmal packaging, they made it here with only a few bent skirts so I decided to take a chance with Field Supply.

I've ordered from them a few times when they had deals too good to pass on and although the packaging isn't anywhere near on par with PA or AGD, they got here with no dented tins and fairly well packaged.

I had some frustrating experiences. My first order came with most tins crushed, so I called and emailed to complain, to their credit, they refunded for the crushed tins. Second time is better but still get signi9ficant dens, this time they asked me to ship back for replacement. I sent them back using the shipping material from PA and asked them to resend the pellets using my packing material, which they declined but promised to have better packing. They came back with much thicker bubble wrap. However, my future orders were still not packed well and I lost appetite to complain.

Received 4 tins today, first time I ordered from them.  Well packed no damage.  Not packed as well as PA though and I am only an hour away.

I received mine as well.  The 8 tins were stacked and wrapped together, so at least some effort was made.  Better than Amazon who just throws them all loose in a box.  However the wrap was only one layer so this 4 pound monolithic cylinder hammered back and forth.  Almost every tin was slightly crushed but fortunately there were only a few bent skirts, roughly 5 or so per tin.

BTW, I got some of the budget H&N Excite pellets to try for the first time.  Wrote a quick review here https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=144570 (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=144570)

My 4 tins were stacked and placed in a bubble wrap bag then rolled up so there were in fact multiple layers ans some air pillows in the box.  The only thing I saw were slight bulging of the bottoms of the tins but I think no matter how you pack it that will happen due to the shifting of the weight of the pellets inside the tins if dropped or handled roughly.  But there was none of the damage like when the bounce around loose in a box.

just ordered 4 tins. This will be my first time ordering from FS. we'll see how their packaging holds up for coming all the way to the west coast. Hopefully I won't have a bunch of damaged tins. keeping fingers crossed.

I bought some from Field about 3 weeks ago and they were heavily bubble wrapped- a big improvement for them . The absolute best wrapping is from Trenier outdoors - at least in my experience.

Ordered seven tins, all received heavily dented. One layer of bubble wrap and then placed in a large box three times bigger than needed with two big bubbles, should have used six or eight big bubbles. Too much free space in box.
