i need to add a moderator to my 2400KT and i'm looking at the TKOs. i'm very satisfied with the 6.5" one i installed on my modified 2260.
wanting to keep the 2400 as short as possible, would the sound difference between the 6.5" and 5" models be that noticeable?
i realize the 2260 has a .22 - 24" barrel vs the 2400's .177 - 14.6" barrel so i'm not expecting exact same results.
i would try the 2260's TKO on the 2400, but i can't find my tiny hex wrenches to do so. ???
also, if anyone knows of an alternative to the TKOs at the same price point, please let me know.
thanks, carl

Try Rocker1 or RobM..got both ldc and works

I live by Rocker1 LDC's for my 1322, 1720, Prod & Mini-rod.

I've got a couple of the 5" TKO's. One is on an 18" barrel 22xx, and used to be on 14.5" 22xx.
I think they (the short TKO's) are great and I haven't ever felt like I needed a longer one.

All my 22xx ,23xx and 24xx have 5” TKO’s .....my disco needed a 6.5...good luck on your choice

I cant' imagine it being that big of a difference on the 2400kt. I have the 6.5 sitting on my 1322 carbine right now and there is almost no sound difference from 4 pumps to 10, it is just dead quiet........it is incredible. I have a 5 inch on order so I can put the 6.5 on a Maximus I ordered.

There probably is a slight difference and I don't have experience with being able to compare short and longer side by side and it may make a difference to you so this is only my opinion.
I'd say for most CO2 setups and most multi pump pneumatics the 5" is perfect, as you start getting into the pcp/HPA levels longer may start to be beneficial.
