After testing three different weights of mds hammers, I went back to the 44 grain in conjunction with Tim’s dual wire long spring. I have since lightened up the war valve spring 2 turns out. This gives me a bit more power available on heavier projectiles with the light hammer. This is my original post in my armada modifications. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=131523.80 (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=131523.80)
The bullets/ pellets shown are chronograph readings from the barrel but ChairGun readings at 65 yards. If it ever stops raining, I’ll get a chance to do actual chronograph readings at 65 yards. All are accurate, however, the eunjin 43.2 are inconsistent. I’m sure sizing and sorting will tighten it up. I have not had time to test the 38-41 grain bbt. No targets at this time, just basic comparison. The war valve, Tim’s dual wire spring and mds are very efficient and takes very little to adjust up or down.
Edit: found some previous pics. White target is 50 yards with 33 grain swagged, red target is 70 ish? yards 45 grain swagged, those are run through a .250 sizer from noe. Also has an obvious flier due to me.
