Title: It Lost It's Head!

While I was out back enjoying some plinking time, a pesky, ominous yellow jacket kept circling me. After awhile, it landed on an empty cardboard box, that was destined for the dump this morning. The yellow jacket found something interesting in a particular spot and settled there. I went into the basement and grabbed the P17 to try my luck at this tiny target. When I came back out, it was still in the same place. I got to about 5ft and placed the stock fiber optic sight on my quarry. Slowly and steadily squeeze the trigger.............saw the yellow jacket disappeared before hearing the CPHP strike the gravel on the ground. I wasn't certain I had struck my target, but a closer search around the gravel reveal an  unmistakable black and yellow stripings.

“Off with its head”! Dinh, you and your P17 are one lethal combo for yellow jackets! Nice shot :)

Whats the required FPE for dispatching a Yellow Jacket?
Nice free handed shot too.

Thank you, Randall! That was my first YJ, and it was a lot of fun! I need to set up a YJ bait station.

Being a highly trained, seasoned professional now, I would recommend at least 50fpe.

Tallyhoo nice shot with a pistol. Those little suckers have gotten me a few times. :D

Wow Dinh.....I think you just invented a new way to combat Dangerous Wild Critters.      That's an amazing Shot !
