Title: 4 more chippers today

The first 3 were around my deck this morning and I was out with the Viper Express. The first was with a shot shell at 10' or so the next 2 were with CPHP's at 15 to 30'. The 4th ( the lobotomy) was with the Disco and a Hunter Extreme at 35 yds . Wow Dave, what are you feeding that Disco?  :)  Nice shooting buddy!

One more day like that and you will almost be caught up with Wayne.  Will you dethrone the chipper king? ;D

Great shooting Dave !!! I too have been getting at least one chipper everytime I get in the woods, they're all over the place here now too.

Thanks guys! I don't think I can come to close to Wayne LOL ) Yes its shooting very well now Harry ( excellent work by Joe at Disco's are us)

Good shooting Dave! I've wondered how well the shotguns work. Looks like it was efffective. That disco and hunter extreme sure did the job on them too.

I remember being in junior high school, my dad had quit farming to pursue a professional career in Engineering. Anyhow, we sold the farm and bought five acres that bordered several hundred acres of timberland and farm fields. We heated with wood and so had lots of wood piles around (AKA chipmunk homes) At first mom was protective of them, they were just too "Cute" to shoot at. But that first winter they chewed their way into the house, plugged dryer vents, filled boots with acorns, and cut holes in the pantry closet.

After that, the war was on (I had a second hand RWS 45 as a kid). I still live near the woods, and have had problems with the darned things. But so far this year the kids Cats have kept them pretty well cleaned up. So no shooting on those pests for me this year.

Thanks Matt ! its good to about 20' on chipmunks  and 30 or so and HOSP. 2 more today with the 850

Dave, that is some excellent shooting on those chippers! You might have to open a lobotomy center soon :)
