Installed Tim hill 12.5 hammer spring valve hammer and used fridge water line hose. All holes drilled to165ths and using huma reg with gauge port used 1/2 drill and bored thru the huma block to make opening bigger reg is at 2100 filled to 3200 and reg drops off around 1500. 40/40 tune well most are at 40 fps the rest are at 39 . Whatever close enough I 💭 if you look at my results is this what you guys are getting with your 25 mrod?

I think many would say yes you made it to the 40/40 tune. I prefer a tighter spread myself and a lower SD and with personal goals don't count any shots above a 2% ES, but I am a hunter at longer ranges is why. For backyard plinking and short range hunting, you definitely made it in my book!

The E.S. is fictitious. The reg. if set at 2100, it will be off the reg at slightly higher or lower than 2100, not 1500. This is where the E.S. issue lies.
Sure you can shoot off the reg. but the numbers E.S. will suffer. ;)

The extreme spread is high. Any idea what I should do to lower it?

As Michael said, it is probably because you are shooting down quite a ways past the set-point. If you are seeing more than 2% Es while on reg, something with the reg or needs more break-in.
Going to 0.187" porting and a zero preload (SSG, TSS, etc) will help improve your string.

I’m about to do the same with a 177. Do I drill out the ports to .187 as well?

I have not taken a 177 reg'ed mrod to 0.187", only the 25 cal. For 177 I've used 0.140", which is about 80% of the bore.
For 0.187", don't forget the barrel port, and even check that your bolt is not an issue. I've used the Gen 1 flow thru bolt in Gen 2, and that partially covers a 0.187" TP, so that needs to opened a bit (dremel).
