Well I cant remember how I stumbled across this gun. Actually I think I was looking for the Hunting Master RS which I had known about and seen years ago but I had never seen the King Hunting Master before. Well long story short, I had to have one or at least try. I started searching online and found 2 pictures of them and a reference to one in an old classifieds ad. I asked the seller of the RS if he had a King Hunting Master and he did. A gun that I had never seen or knew existed was in my hands within a week or two. I expected it to be much harder though Ive had relatively good luck in the past outside of the Corsair 357 and the Recluse 290cc.
Anyhow the gun is balanced and easy to shoulder. Trigger is about what you'd expect from a early 2000's korean but my new Recluse it considerably worse. Its a side lever with a 5 shot rotary magazine. This one has a "low" and "high" power setting. A lot of power here just like the RS and the accuracy and shooting behavior is about the same. This one only seemed to like the JSB 25.39 gr Monsters. My best 5 shot group is below. No need in moving out further. Max fpe was 71 lbs. Tried heavier and slightly lighter pellets. I did all of my shooting today on high power at 45 yards. This one for whatever reason isn't quite as fun as the RS to shoot. Shot a string over the chrony and saw the normal linear string but it dropped off to 797 fps then picked back up. Not sure if it was the gun or the chrony. I didn't shoot another string to see if it happened again as it was too hot and humid to enjoy myself. Back in the safe this one goes for a while.

Nice looking rifle A.Z.
Were you shooting the original Monsters or the redesigned version? I would think that the 797 reading had to be a chrony fluke. It's hard to believe that the gun would lose over 200fps on one shot, only to pick up the pace on the following shot.

The original Monsters did the best. I have the redesigned as well. Ive read that quite a few guns dont like the originals but quite a few of mine do. I keep a tally and at least 4 have done well with them. Ill be running back through all of those and trying the redesigned Monsters along with some other pellets ive picked up.
