Wanted a shop and yard gun started with a Black Hawk Elite II, piece of !!!!. Took it back this a.m.and got the F4 and the cheap Baraska scope that Kenny at My Air gun Reviews talked about. Cleaned barrel, tightened scope, and screws. Shot on paper 3shots to zero show for $105 out the door what a sleeper. The trigger out of the box seems to be way better than my other Benji Crossmans. Way way better the the Ruger, and I mene no competition at all. Have about 60 rounds through it and will see how the scope holds up. Just had to put together this budget combo, kind of fun. My last Crossman/Benjiman was a Marauder, a little more the $105 out the door. If anyone else has any experiences with this combo or anything like it lets talk. Good shooting. Mike

I have a Crosman Vantage, 117 Cal, Nitro Piston Rifle. I have had it for about 6 years now. It is sighted in with a Hatsan Optima 3-9X32 Scope and Hatsan Optima Rings. My Crosman Vantage NP Rifle with the Hatsan Scope & Rings on it, is mounted in a Benjamin Titan, Thumb-Hole Style, Gunstock. This inexpensive rifle, scope & gunstock combination shoots very well out to 35 yards. ;D
Best Wishes - Tom

Bought a WalMart F4 a little over a year ago. Had some barrel droop and didn't care for the trigger. Straightened the barrel, did the bearing fix on the trigger, mounted an inexpensive UTG 3x9x32 scope on it and been shooting steadily since then. No problems whatever. Dead accurate at 25 yds.

I have one. After some trigger work; it’s my most accurate Crosman. The trigger is really good too. Short crisp single stage. A great haul for the $49 dollars it cost me at Walmart.

I picked up a sweet Crosman Fire refurbed on EBay for $60 shipped from the Manstore and I'm impressed with the trigger. I put my Hawke Sport HD scope on it and I plan to eliminate armies of soda can soldiers this summer. I agree, sleeper right there! I am a bit undecided about which stock I like better, the F4 or the Fire. My bro in law has the F4 and I was quite impressed with the stock.

Thanks for the replies. Did a little starling control today with it. Longest shot at 35 yards, dead starling. Made my own trigger bearing from a nut, turned it down on drill press, refuse to spend any money on this combo if I don,t have to. Mike

Some great deals their, but I got you on my 24 buck Baraska. Have about 300 rounds through it, no problems yet. Mike

the crosman breakbarrels may have a lousy rep due to the fact that they are chinese made, but given that they are b19 derivatives they do shine with a little TLC. i picked up a benji prowler in .22 for 634 at walmart (sorry hunny, dont need it but cant pass that deal up) and today it shoots still 760 fps with 14.3 gr crosm prems HP, and will decimate critters out to 35 yards with aplomb and elegance. i changed the stock to an older phantom stock (the pimpled one... love that. it seems that is a very common trend among us crosman BB users... i guess is like we are dressing up our "dolls",lol... we should start an "exchange stock forum"...). And i do mean aplomb and Elegance, as it is quiet, the trigger mod made it a lot easier to shoot and at that powerlevel, even accidental bodyshots end with a critter in the bag. The last one was a crow at 51 yards... lights out on impact. i missed out on the F4 illinois edition (695 fps)... not sure if IL changed its law and those are no longer necssary, but boy i would love one...

Chronied my F4 thiis a.m. with Winnie domes 1011 fps. Not to shabby. The cheap Baraska scope is still holding up at about 400 rounds. The only other thing I will spend money on this gun will be some camo paint. I despise black guns, wish I could find a wood stock for this gun. Mike

any crosman wood stock will fit... and they are about 40 bux. thumbhole from the titan, sporter from the venom, wooden classic from the quest/vantage, etc, and if you are lucky a remington vantage old school stock... shiny wood!!!
